Your plugin is simple and effective.
But to have a more appropriate visibility, would it be possible that the plugin becomes fully multilingual ?

But also understand that when you have a commercial site, and you find that the links do not work anymore because of a plugin that has lost its data, it annoys a can.

I prefer to solve the problem as quickly as possible by a more simple and safe solution, rather than having to spend time searching for solutions on forums, at the risk of missed solution.

So, since you know the problem and the solution, why not have it implemented in the verification process after updating.

Furthermore, you claim that I make false statements. This is not the case, since the problem exists and you know it. But you do not do anything to solve it directly into the update procedure.

I’m sorry, but it is not after an update it is necessary go to the forum to find a solution. Once the update is complete and that the records have been lost, it is too late.

It is for you, the developer, to make sure that your update does not overwrite the linked data. I have fifty plugins, and it does this ever happened with them.

Now it is too late, and I have repaired the problem with an alternative, simpler and safer.

It’s really out of curiosity and by chance, that I arrived to this little problem.
But better if it allows to advance and improve your plugin.

Thank you very much for your help. This normally works now. But I think there has to be a small problem.

For in my Google Analytics console, I have only one view / profile. But Google shows that in fact there are two views / profiles (User ID and one created). The Widget plugin, so shows two profiles with the same name (domain name but with different tooltip depending on the view / profile).

But when we select the second view / profile, it is not possible to re-select the first, and each time it is requested authorization from the plugin. But it is useless, since each time only the second view is selected and that the authorization does not.

This done, your approach to disable switching Profile, puts things in order.
