In reply to: [WooCommerce] Potential Store Page BugI’m closing this topic – You can see the proposed solution #22326 to this issue linked down the page a little.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Potential Store Page BugUpon further testing this issue certainly appears to be confirmed as a store page bug so I’ve linked to the GeneratePress thread where I ran through the issue with Tom the lead developer.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Potential Store Page BugI’ve yet to hear back re missing thread mentioned above so I’ll retype issue here.
Immediately after converting my store page to blocks the formatting went out. All other pages converted perfectly. To fix the format of the main store page I have to alter the site wide CSS by 30px to correct the position of the title, headers, paragraphs etc.
So I decided to install the Simple CSS plugin (which I use on other sites) so I could alter the CSS for the store page only. Problem being is that Simple CSS won’t work on the store page. It works on every other page, just not the store page despite the fact it should.
I suspect there’s a bug impacting store page layout and stopping plugin from working.
If you go to my live site you’ll see that the title, header and paragraphs are spaced differently from the rest of the site. Prior to converting from classic to blocks all pages were formatted the same using the exact same CSS across the entire site.
It also appears to only impact the main page content area of the store, not widgets etc as far as I’m aware. Do you have any idea why I’m experiencing said issues?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Potential Store Page BugFor some reason my reference post was removed from the simple CSS thread linked above. I need to see if its held for moderation or something.
Yeah I agree with @alex80ks
We should get to drop “our own logs” as and when we want too and not at a predefined time which we could forget about and not check therefore missing something important.
I also agree with @lechon who said my comment was deleted. It’s not the only one either.
Whats up with that ???
As a premium plugin user I’m getting hacked off with my posts being deleted Gerroald
What are you trying to hide ??? The facts its useful to have a clear logs button !!!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Recent Viewed Products “Widget”Just in case it helps someone, here’s the link to the developer report.

I’m marking this thread resolved given it’s being dealt with at github

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Recent Viewed Products “Widget”Ok, I’ll most likely go and create another fresh install, adding a couple of products and see if I can recreate the issue again to triple check.. I will be surprised if I get a different outcome though as this site is extremely clean..
If I can I will link this thread to that ticket.
Cheers

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Recent Viewed Products “Widget”Yeah it’s the same. It’s a clean/fresh site with only 4 products listed. I use cloudflare on the main domain however the staging sub hasn’t had the domain records altered to support caching etc. I tend to steer away from caching plugins. I find they’re annoying and more trouble than they’re worth and all hosting caching is also deactivated.

In reply to: Categories are not assigned to the Posts.Just a thought but I’m thinking this may be a permalink setting related issue.
Go to Settings / Permalink / Custom Structure and if not there copy
/%category%/%postname%/
and save..NOTE: Doing this sort of thing after search engines have indexed the site typically requires URL redirection in google console to include such changes.

In reply to: Cheatin’ uh?Blunt is all good lol
Yeah I reckon it could be the latter. A core issue intentional or otherwise.
I also said words to that effect to the plugin support in my last email.
While waiting for their response I thought I would post this and see if my thoughts were confirmed.
Next minute lo and behold they have been on both counts.
Well done, 10 points haha
Thanks

In reply to: [Maintenance Mode] Related PostsJust thought I should that also mention that while the “share this” links no longer show on the maintenance page which is good, they also don’t show now on the posts if the site is behind the activated maintenance plugin.
I think its better like this than the other way around though if its possible to get the share this links back for when you’re working on the site it would be good.
Hope you get what I mean. Let me know if you need further explanation.
Thanks
