Hey @shadrix, there are some requirements for the card brand choice to show as mentioned in the documentation. There is nothing to “activate” in the Stripe plugin settings. If the cart meets the requirements but the choice is not show and the card is co-badged, please review with a default theme and using the Block based checkout. Thanks.

This was released as part of the 8.30 release @shadrix – This is only available via the new checkout experience due to coding limitations with the legacy checkout.

Looking at this link you provided, the included URL you gave is https://stripe.com/en-ro/guides/payment-methods-guide#klarna – the en-ro means the English version for Romania. Is your Stripe account registered in Romania? If so, then Klarna isn’t available for you. Please see Merchant country availability below the gif on this page from Stripe – https://docs.stripe.com/payments/klarna

How odd! The checkout fields layout you have displayed doesn’t match layout of our Stripe plugin but also you’re correct that Bank payment method isn’t supported in the WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway. I cannot currently understand why you’re seeing this on the checkout form.

Can you confirm you’re using the latest version of the Stripe plugin? When you reply, could you send me a copy of your site’s System Status, please? You can find it via the WooCommerce > Status submenu. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, head to our QuickForget service, paste the Status Report into The secret is... box, click “Save my secret” button and send me the unique “secret” URL in your reply.

There are occasions for updates where plugins have the option to override the default setting, but this is not something the Woo team can do ourselves and this must be authorized and handled by the Plugin Review team.

Please know this wasn’t an update taken lightly. This was a required release that needed to be updated on all sites.

Klarna isn’t an available payment method for the WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway.

If you would like this, please vote on the feature requests – feature requests for Klarna via WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway on WooCommerce.com.

Hey @muhammadfaizanhaidar – I hear you on this one. Ideally extensions should be deactivated before WooCommerce Core but there are scenarios where the core plugin gets deactivated beforehand.

This is a known and recorded bug here: Disabling WooCommerce Core and then Stripe causes a Critical Error.

Changing plugin behaviour based on another may go against WordPress guidelines but we’re open to ideas to fix this. Thanks!

Can I ask if your review is about Stripe.com the business or the WooCommerce Stripe plugin? Our plugin enables people like yourself to use Stripe directly on a WooCommerce site, but we are Woo don’t have any oversight into the payment processing.
