Okay I figured out the problem, though not the solution. My blog posts are very long — each one requires readers to scroll down several screens in order to read it all. The paypal donate button is at the end of my posts. So if visitors click it, the “Your Donation” dialogue window pops up near the top of the screen. So if users don’t scroll up after clicking the donate button, they won’t see the “Your Donation” dialogue window and will probably assume (as I did) that the donation button doesn’t do anything.

With the problem identified, what’s the solution? Can the paypal donate button be made to pop up the “Your Donation” windows *right where the user is on the page* without requiring the user to scroll up to the top?

    Thanks!
