seems to be that it’s calling “publish_post” on line 721 so I changed it to “new_to_publish”

A friend is having a hard time with this plugin.
I have uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled the latest version.
I have verified the folder names.
I have verified I do have the current flash player.

I’m still getting:

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Getting that on several browsers.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I looked at the patch with the lines to change/add/remove…

and the lines in question did not show up in either wp-mail.php or the class-pop3.php

what gives?

I got cron to work.
It runs every ten minutes.

But my problem is…
no matter what I set for the frequency on the campaign options it always says the next run time is like 8 hours away. (so the ten minute cron is useless)

I’ve even tried setting the requency on the campaign options to one minute!

Anybody have the thing working?

If this thing gets fixed it’s worth a great big donate to the author because other than this scheduling thing it rocks!

Any ideas?

I can get pingbacks to work in this scenario – but not trackbacks.

Another weird thing…
I expected two Bad Behavior tables – one log table and the “main” table.

I only have the “wp_bad_behavior” table – it seems to track EVERYTHING even admin page requests that work just fine so I’m not sure it’s a list of blocks. This table doesn’t seem to have a “deny reason” type field.

ANOTHER UPDATE.

now on 2.1
got trackback and ping backs to work but had to disable ALL plugins and also make sure the the author’s name and email was NOT required.

If I enabled Akismet things still worked… but anything else or anything + Akismet killed trackbacks and pingbacks. (and in this case too I had to make sure the the author’s name and email was NOT required.)

I know there are sites out there that use Akismet and Bad Behavior as well as require email and name. They have Trackbacks showing up like crazy.

So… any ideas.

Still can’t RECIEVE trackbacks or pingbacks.
I can send them out just fine.

?? wth is going on…

I seem to be having the opposite problem.
I can SEND trackback and pingbacks… but can’t receive them

There’s gotta be some simple setup or perhaps htaccess issue.. but I’m out of ideas.

yup the pingback link tag is in there.
xmlrpc.php is there and accessible.

Trackbacks don’t even work.
I have tried referencing the wp-trackback.php file directly… no luck.

At the site that SENDS the ping or trackback the url referenced shows up in the “already pinged” list.

Nothing Errors out… but nothing shows up at the site that us supposed to get the trackback.

This may drive me mad.
