It was due to my settings in Text replacement module of Branda. Not caused by branda plugin conflict. I was able to correct it.

I don’t have FTP, so I used the Cpanel File Manager. Here’s what I did:

1. I renamed MailPoet plugin folder, deleted the now deactive plugin as usual using wp admin
2. Uploaded the latest 3.88.1 version using File Manager in Cpanel, activated MailPoet as usual

Can you please advise if activating any other plugin results in the same error?

Not the same error, but a different one: “Critical error on this site” is triggered when activating Jetpack and Uncanny automator.

I’m not sure if I understand this. Did the error trigger when you activated Jetpack?

No, I have not been able to test sending mails yet. Can’t setup because:

I’m using MailPoet 3 version 3.88.0

Not able to update to 3.88.1

Clicking the update button shows Update failed error.

I have deactivated the plugin, I just checked activating Jetpack, Uncanny automator gave “Critical error on this site, check your email inbox for instructions” page. But I’m not getting a mail.

I mean, it will be good if the 2fa setup is available as core part of the plugin.

Since you asked, I’m using Buddypress plugin on 3 of the sites I manage. Themes are different for each site.

It’s not network activated. I have it active on Only on 3 sub sites. Can’t get tags in any of them. Does it have to be network active to work?

I tried after deactivating all other plugins, still not helped.

I think I might have turned off.

Another issue I just noticed, I have added contact tags, but when creating segments it shows no tags found.

My site is a multisite network. Is that what’s causing these problems?

Thank you for the updated file. As I suggested I set up a staging site to test the changes (Took one full day to learn how to do that I am still learning my way around wordpress coding and web hosting, which is why it took so long to reply, )

Unfortunately the new file didn’t work. Still not able to insert tokens ??

I have a backup of my site with the version before 3.0, I am using it on my live/production site. Hopefully it’ll be resolved when the next update comes out.
