In reply to: [Flexible Posts Widget] Add option to display post's Date PublishedHi AlwaysEnthusiast,
Thanks for checking in. Honestly, life has been insanely busy. I haven’t had a chance to tackle any new FPW work for quite some time.
Truthfully, displaying the modified date (instead of the published date) will most likely always be in the realm of a custom template. In my experience, it’s not that common to see modified date displayed.
That being said, FPW already allows sorting by modified date and it would be trivial to create a custom template to display the modified date. If you’re not comfortable with creating the template yourself, I’d be happy to code it for you at a cost. Feel free to reach out to me at help [at] flexiblepostswidget [dot] com and we can discuss it further.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Flexible Posts Widget] Hoizontal instead of VerticalHi Sean,
FPW doesn’t do layout/styling. It simply works with the existing layouts, designs & styles in use on your website. You’d need to refer to your theme’s styles and layouts to change the layout of the posts.
Thanks for using the plugin!

In reply to: [Flexible Posts Widget] Custom widget options?Hi The Three,
I’m not sure what you mean by “custom options.” Can you explain?

In reply to: [Flexible Posts Widget] Show new posts starting from current postsHi GCSkye, it will get any number of posts, starting from any number of posts you wish. However, it’s not “aware” of what content may be visible on the current page. In other words, you can’t currently tell the widget to get X number of posts after the current post, for example.
Thanks for asking.

In reply to: [Flexible Posts Widget] Options not available when using BeaverBuilderHi Tibor,
You’re correct. Because of the JavaScript used in FPW, it’s not really compatible with most page builder plugins. It’ really a combination of limitations between the page builder’s functionality and FPW’s functionality. At this time, I don’t have an ETA as to when this might change.
Of course, you can still use FPW from any WordPress Sidebar area, just not through a page builder.
Sorry!

In reply to: [Flexible Posts Widget] New property suggestionHi AlpDmr,
Thanks for reaching out. FPW already has a templating system that allows you to perform these kinds of customizations. (In fact, this is precisely why I built the plugin the way I did!)
I don’t foresee adding these as options within a each widget’s UI as the UI is already pretty “full”. I do appreciate the suggestion though! And thanks for using the plugin!

In reply to: [Flexible Posts Widget] Select Multiple Post TypesHi Buena,
You can select multiple post types in each FPW instance. However, getting it to show only one of <i>each</i> post type would require you to either figure out a way to make sure the posts of each type are ordered one after the other. Or, you could always just configure two instances of the widget. One for a single Portfolio item and another for a single Post item.
Thanks for using the plugin!

In reply to: [Flexible Posts Widget] Sticky Posts in Navigation WidgetHi warkior,
FPW isn’t a navigation widget, so I’m not sure how this question applies. Can you clarify your issue? Thanks!
