Thanks whooami. I should have updated this request since I finally fixed it. And as you might have guessed, I used the very method you described. Pretty much. What I did was download the clean version of my themes sidebar.php. I then started adding one thing at a time until I found the issue. It’s working great now. Yes, troubleshooting is a wonderful thing. Why didn’t I think of it earlier? Doh!

OK, here is the url for the source code for my sidebar.php file. I have also made my page shorter by only showing a maximum of 6 posts per page. Thank you for the tip. I have repented of my sin. ??

Hello and thank you for the replies. My sidebar is missing quite alot actually. A calendar, a clustrmap, a counter, my blogroll, etc. Not sure what’s going on. I could post the code of sidebar.php but I read the “before you post” message and it said not to do that. I can email it to someone if they want to look at it.

Also, thanks for the suggestion on contacting the plugin developer. I can try that, but since it was by Technorati I’m not very hopeful.

Hello! I’m having a problem with the plugin, but I hope it’s a simple fix. It has been installed and everything *looks* good, however, when I test subscribing, no one is ever added to the address book. No emails are sent, but when I look in the address book, no entries, so I thought that might explain why no emails are going out. What is the cause of this? I thought that when someone puts their email address in and hits subscribe that that email address would be captured and added to the address book? Any ideas? Thanks!

OK, it was formatting. The WYSIWYG editor in WP seems to screw things up a bit. I did editing of my html and it works great now. THanks!

My apologies, the person before posted just before I did. Anyway, I haven’t figured it out yet, but with all the help from the previous post I’m going to use that to get started. If I get it fixed, I will come back and close this request. Thanks!

Oh OK. I think I see how it works now. Thank you very much moshu. I guess I had filled out these other forms during setup, I thought the “About” would point to something that I had already filled out. I think I get it now. Tell if I’m right: create a new page called “about” that you fill out with whatever about yourself, your blog, whatever and then you point the About link on the menu bar to the new page. That’s what I did. I hope that’s right. Of course by so doing, the About page since it’s a page I created appears in the list of pages on the side of the page (if that makes sense).
