The problem is all taxonomies are filled in, ten thousand + and I need to exclude all but like 5, and I can’t see or scroll through them all to find the 5 I need to exclude even if I do the reverse checkbox.

+1 this feature as well, I would be willing to buy a pro version of this plugin compared to free version if it had some additional features and would help fund efforts to enhance.

You put a lot of effort into finding out how to make it compatible. If you make the code changes in your plugin so that it is compatible without granting permissions I don’t want to give to my editors, then I will re-test and review the plugin to see if it meets all our needs.

Found it, it was edit_pages I didn’t allow my staff to create pages at all, only posts. Odd how Meta Slider, Next Gen Slider, Elastic Slider and Fusion Slider, all didn’t require that permission, Next Gen Slider even has it’s own custom permissions.

Also, looks like even though they can create the gallery, no images are saved into it when they submit for review, if they don’t have the publish_pages / publish_posts it won’t keep the gallery intact. Even if admin approves it, the images are lost when they submit gallery for review.

I can’t give my authors ability to publish or create pages directly, everything they submit goes to pending review first.

Very odd, I have all those permissions set for a custom role and they still can’t see lightbox-slider. Are these permissions set for a regular default WordPress role or is there a custom role created with the members plugin?

I am and have been using that plugin, so which permission is it? Under Custom Post Types Lightbox slider shows 0/0 and has nothing I can check to give permission. I can’t see any attributes in the 96 possible permissions I can give, none look like they give access to lightbox slider? Is it only the pro version that allows roles, or should I see this in the free version too?

Ok, will try that, it could be a conflict with another plugin too, so investigating.

I found the problem, not only do you have to select custom style in the Typography section of the theme, but you also have to select custom style on the Skinning -> Post Background section as well.

Thanks Justin, wow bug opened for 15 months with no progress. Is there a work around, I don’t mind editing my core WordPress files if it is simply changing a function.

It is a bug, hoping the plugin developer can look into it.

I just upgraded to WordPress 3.3.2 and see the same issue, never saw it before upgrade.

I get the same error, always get unsuccessful transfer queue when uploading images to this 1 blog via Live Writer, it happens only on this 1 blog out of 5 (3 hosted on same provider don’t have same issue).
