I meant the post from wordpress keeps popping up when people are searching for my site. Every time someone on any search engine searches for my business, the wordpress post pops up and it looks terrible.

www.ads-software.com is the one giving away my personally-identifying information, not google. www.ads-software.com is using my business name without my permission. This is an issue and is against the privacy policy.

All I want is the name removed. The post itself can stay. I don’t see how I don’t have the right for a company to NOT use my company’s name.

According to the wordpress privacy policy:

    Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information
www.ads-software.com discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on www.ads-software.com’s behalf or to provide services available at www.ads-software.com’s websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others.
(I do not agree to have my business name advertised)

www.ads-software.com will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations, as described above, www.ads-software.com discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law, or when www.ads-software.com believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of www.ads-software.com, third parties, or the public at large.
(My business name holds very personal information and I should have the ability to have it removed)

www.ads-software.com takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
(My business name on here leads unwanted attention to my personally-identifying information. I believed I would be able to edit the name out later after my issue was resolved.)

I only need one name removed from the post. It appears 3 times. If a mod could message me and offer to help, I can provide the exact name and it can be edited.

It will not let me edit.
The post pops up in EVERY inquiry of my site.
Can’t I just have a mod take the name off? Insert (business name) instead of the actual name?

Can I at least have the name of my site taken off of it so it stops popping up when people search for my business?

Can I get this post deleted please? It’s affecting my search results.

Well, I let it sit for a while and some new things have happened…

    1) Now the title shows: My ServicesMy Services
And the description shows the text from the home page rather than the info I submitted.

    2) A google search shows the home page, but now also shows the services page and the about us page, both with the description I wanted the home page to display. They each have their own description they’re supposed to be displaying…

    3) None of the keywords I entered lead me to my page when I google search. I have to search for the exact site domain or it gives me results for everything BUT my page. Should I scrap meta keywords all together?

    Definitely confused…

It was propagation. Took longer than usual due to me not directing the DNS to my host. I figured it was automatic seeing as how the domain and hosting were purchased at the same time from the same company, but nope.

    So, this has been resolved.
