I noticed that the url is weird some of it has \ and the second half has / like its looking on the local machine and then switches to web?

Thanks for the responses everyone, I have temporarily fixed it by putting a -10px margin on the top to the body but I know that isn’t the correct way but I just can’t find the problem.

I am having this issue as well only I know for a fact that my permissions are correct and whenever it tries to submit to directory it responds with:

Unable to create directory W:\Domains\domainname.com\httpdocs\blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/03. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

Also no upload folder for me so i created one as well I uploaded a file to it from ftp client just to see if it was detectable from media library and nothing.

I did try it when I posted that and the results were the same, thats the reason I was double checking.

Hey m8rk is this using the “mytube” plugin or the extreme video plugin? what is it that i take out to make sure i did it right; i should remove <param name="movie" value="https://www.youtube.com/v/Uf6Mfwn4iaE"></param> right?

posting google video does work, however it is youtube that I am trying to get to work. thanks though.

I have installed VaamYob’s plugin “mytube” in the plugin folder and pasted the embedded file link (example: <object width=”425″ height=”350″><param name=”movie” value=”https://www.youtube.com/v/VxjiCyE2gd0″></param><embed src=”https://www.youtube.com/v/VxjiCyE2gd0&#8243; type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” width=”425″ height=”350″></embed></object>) and i still get a hollow box where the video should be. What am I doing wrong??
