Thank-you so much for posting this. This worked for me. The httpd.conf was in xamppfiles/etc/httpd.conf and it had User and Group both set to daemon. I changed them to my OS X username and group. I expect I’ll have to change this back to daemon and daemon when I make the site go live. Is that right?

    Two 403 Errors:
Without changing anything, my WP Admin login is now fine, and the PowerPress player now shows up on my posts in FireFox and Chrome on my computer, but on my iPod Touch, it is still not available. Also, on computer browsers, I am still missing the “Play/Pause” button on the player. After doing some speed tests to determine where the blocking was occurring, I think that “mycloud.my-domain-name.com/wp-includes/js/mediaelement/controls.svg” is being called by jquery, but the speedtest shows a 403 error. I think this must be the missing “Play/Pause” button. How can I upload this single file to my S3 bucket?

I have another 403 error in mailchimp. It cannot find “datepicker.js.gzip”.

    Slow page initiation:
Using “webpagetest.org” showing results for a user in Hong Kong, China, I found that I have a slow page initiation while it checks my location. It finds location: Denver CO because I got my domain name through GoDaddy. Time to First Bite: 22455 ms! However, my site is hosted in Singapore. Is there any way to improve this. Most of my site users are in Asia.

Which files should not be on the CDN?
I use “backup WP” and “WordPress SEO” plugins on my site. Should these files be on the CDN or not? If not, how do I remove them from Amazon S3 bucket and block them from being pushed again by W3 Total Cache? Which kinds of plugins do you recommend be blocked from the CDN?

    BG-image not loading:
My background image is still not loading. It will load on my home page, which is the intros to the 10 most recent posts, but if I click on one of those posts, it will not load on the page for that individual post. This behavior seems strange, as it should already be cached on my browser from coming in on the first page I visited. The browser keeps trying to retrieve it endlessly, but cannot. I am afraid this is going to affect bandwidth and HTTP requests on Amazon Web Services. Could you recommend a way to troubleshoot this?
