I followed your instructions, but still get a timeout after 7k files scanned. I have >30k plus files. Maybe that’s something I need to check. My site has a huge archive going back to 2013…

I could not find the button in the security plugin , just the anti-spam plugin. But i can confirm that the file is no longer marked as malware.

It didn’t update by itself. After a delete/reinstall it works now.

“Missing argument 2” is a security warning by wordpress (since 3.x) which can be changed easily.

Is the plugin hosted on github and we can help out?

Solved by returning to 5.5.7.1 (https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/events-manager.5.5.7.1.zip).
Something broke in 5.6 ??

The crazy thing is: my users (role: subscriber) can create new events, publish them, but then never edit them again.
