In reply to: [Database for Contact Form 7] Can you display db data on front end?The back-end works well. Can you add file attachments as part of the database (CF7 file upload) and you add custom fields that you create in CF7.
It’s unfortunate that you don’t have a front-end viewable area. This would be perfect.

Thank you for your interest in SBS! The basic version has limited features, but we do offer a pro version with a free trial. Feel free to check this out on our site at htttps://stepbystepsys.com
What you are describing may require some customization. If you go to our site and write a support request with some more details about what you want to accomplish, we can give you a better idea of what this would entail.

Sincerely,
AndyHello Anna,
When someone goes through the various steps and selects an item from any of the steps (or a package), those items are stored in the WooCommerce Cart.
We suggest using the widgets Woo Commerce Cart Totals and Cart for the sidebar on the step page(s). This shows what is in someone’s cart.
We don’t currently offer a “save session” type of scenario, primarily because the cart holds the selection(s) from the customer.
Sincerely,
AndyForum: Plugins

In reply to: [Step-By-Step Ordering System for WooCommerce] General plugin questionsHello,
I’m not familiar with the Woodmart theme, but SBS should work with most themes. Depending on what combination of plug-ins and themes you use could potentially cause a conflict, but many of those issues can be solved via a CSS adjustment.
Packages basically are products. You can view a sample of this in action at https://plugin.stepbystepsys.com. You can add options to a package product, but that’s not the actual purpose of the packages. Take a look at them demo site and you will see how it is utilized.
On the actual Step pages, when someone selects an additional product from one of the steps, it is added to the cart and then the person is given the option to add other products on that step-page and then click next to move onto the next Step.
Sincerely,
Andy

In reply to: [Step-By-Step Ordering System for WooCommerce] Package images are goneIt looks like you have contacted us via our website but just in case:
Please make sure you have images for the packages toggled to “on” status. It sounds like the setting may be set to off. You can adjust this under the packages tab in the SBS settings.
If you are still having problems, please contact us via our site (https://stepbystepsys.com) and send us your site address so we can take a look for you.

In reply to: [Step-By-Step Ordering System for WooCommerce] 1 license on different domainsHello,
As this relates to our premium version of SBS, please contact us directly on our site at https://stepbystepsys.com
It looks like you have already done this and we responded to you earlier.
If you wish to transfer a license, you can de-activate it under the premium tab in the system settings. Once you have de-activated the license , you can activate it on a separate domain. There is no need to purchase a second license for this purpose.
If you have any problems doing this, please contact us on our site and we can assist.

In reply to: [Step-By-Step Ordering System for WooCommerce] DoubtsYou can set your store page to any page you would like. Just make sure the SBS short code for the SBS navigation is on that page. You can copy the short code from our default page to your new page.

In reply to: [Step-By-Step Ordering System for WooCommerce] DoubtsHello,
In order to make this mandatory, you did the correct thing by checking the category as either/or. The next thing you have to do is this:
Let’s say you have Product A, Product B, and Product C.
Edit one of those products scroll down to where you see:
Auto Add To Cart (checkbox) Automatically add to cart when customer navigates to containing page.
Make sure you check the box for this and now that category will force the customer to choose from one of these products. If, for example Product A has been “checked”, then it will automatically be added to that category. The customer will then be able to choose product b or c, but they will have to choose one of those three items.
Hope that all makes sense ??
Again, this is a feature of the premium plugin.
You can view an example of this at
https://plugin.stepbystepsys.com -> Specialty salads is the Either/Or category in the demo.

In reply to: [Step-By-Step Ordering System for WooCommerce] DoubtsHello,
Thank you for your interest in SBS.
I’m happy to help you with your questions:
For #1
To make a product mandatorhy (required), the product you wish to make required and edit the product.
Scroll down to:
Step-By-Step Fields (Premium)
(check) RequiredProduct must be in cart in order to check out.
(check) Auto Add To CartAutomatically add to cart when customer navigates to containing page.
This is a feature of our premium product, so you will not be able to do this with the light version. If you go to our main site, you can download a free version of the premium plugin as a trial to test this. (https://stepbystepsys.com)
For #2
This is a feature of our premium plugin. You can set this in the Woocommerce categories section when you set up a specific category.
For #3
Make sure the page you are establishing for Step-By-Step is a page that only uses the short-code for step-by-step. There should be nothing below that, other than perhaps a footer. If you wish to use our Widgets, you will need to establish the page as a page with a sidebar. The sidebar should include these widgets “WooCommerce Cart Totals” and “Cart”.
If you want use to take a closer look for you, please feel free to contact our support at: https://stepbystepsys.com/contact/
Sincerely,
Andy

The plugin is still valid and has not been abandoned. We haven’t done an update recently to the repository because of delays due to Covid-19, but it is compatible with the latest version of WordPress. We will release another update soon.
We have received contact requests today on our site, so I’m not sure why you were having a problem with the contact form? Did you try https://stepbystepsys.com/contact/. If you’re getting an error, please let us know so we can assist you.
