In reply to: Updates broke site.Yes, I uploaded it via FTP. I did test the second site that had broken. Updated Genesis, then WP and it didn’t break. So, I think that was the issue. The other site though, somehow during the update, the IP got changed. I’m the host and didn’t do it. But, that’s why I think it would not get fixed.
Again, thank you soooo much for your help and advice.

In reply to: Updates broke site.None of those things worked, unfortunately. I’ve had to take the site down and am reconstructing. But, as a side note, there was an issue with the IP address that could have triggered this break on this account. I don’t know on the other.
Thank you both very, very much!!!

In reply to: Updates broke site. That didn’t work. The back up broke as soon as it tried to load. Then I accidentally deleted the theme from the good account, added the back up and the admin is not working again. The site is. but no admin.

In reply to: Updates broke site.I did get into the file manager via cPanel and renamed the plugins. That didn’t help at all. FTP then stopped working and gave me an error, but just on one of the 2 accounts that had issues.
I never thought to rename the theme, but not sure I want to break it again to find out. I’ll keep trying one of my test sites and see if I can break so I can try to fix it your way.
Wait – you may have it. Both sites that broke have the same WP theme. Executive Pro – a Genesis theme. I’ll back up the site and put it on a test account, then update to see if that’s it.
Thank you and I’ll let you know so others can read.

In reply to: @Media Print not recognizedGood points. I will re-set up the separate print.css to see if I can isolate.
Thank you!

In reply to: @Media Print not recognizedWhen I modified the header.php to link to separate print.css stylesheet all the pages came out blank for printing. The website was fine, but there was zip nadda nothing on the pages that showed up. Now, when I did that, I did not go in and set all the styles up for content, I just used the media print that was in the style sheet.
Since the code I have now is not being recognized in the style.css, setting up all the code for .entry-content and sidebars, etc. would have to be done if I used separate print.css. Is that right? I did not set those up, just what I wanted modified for print.
I just don’t understand why I’m having to go backwards and do it the way we used to. Why won’t the @media print work in the one style.css?
My client is insisting on having the print work. I just have not had to worry about printing a web page in a long time.

In reply to: @Media Print not recognizedI did a few pages and it’s all checking valid now. There was a couple tag errors on the home page, but nothing that would stop the @media print from being recognized. Any other suggestions?

In reply to: @Media Print not recognizedI used to when I did static sites, but since I moved to WP, no I have not. I will look into it and see if there is something that is stopping the print from working.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Use WooCommerce as a Catalog onlyI did a site where we are using it as catalog and shopping cart. As long as you don’t add a price, there’s no add to cart button.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] WooCommerce Product Attribute orderI have 2 pages of attributes for size variations. They are all over the board in order. How can I get them to reorder to make sense? The client added them and added products, so I can’t just go in and redo them.
roblagatta, thank you so much for looking into this. As far as I can see, the code is all the same:

She is adding the code into the HTML window, so it’s not a plugin. I’ve tested by adding an extra </div> tag as it acts like it has an open one, but that just broke the page. She also said that before she added Groupon, the PayPal buttons were doing the same thing. On all of the calendar/list pages, the top entry has no button, but it is showing up at the bottom of the last entry.
My gut is telling me that there is a conflict with that many of the same exact scripts running on the same page. All of the Groupon scripts are the same.
Could it be a conflict with the script and the Event Calendar code?
Baffled
