Problem #1 Is the button as you are talking about.
Problem #2 Is normal text inserted in the wordpress editor sometime gets a red highlight. Okey so now that we both are talking about #1 it makes more sense :p

Can you give me an example of how <a href="link"><button>button_text</button> could be worked into the style.css file?

and style the links the way you want to see them.

but it is not a link, its plain text that get the decoration, do i then still need to style the style.css? any guides on how you customize the style.css?

The problem with the text is that i have not decorated it at all. The only thing i have done is written it in the wordpress editor and updated the page. And then when i hover my mouse over it, it lights up in a red color.

If i should get them to change the settings for me, what should i ask them to change exactly? Their is an .htaccess file a directory above where i create my file, would it be an idea to try and change the settings their?

Well i cannot access the php.ini file to make the changes, because i have my website hosted by domain.com so in my /webspace/httpdocs/ created a .htaccess file and added the two lines

php_value upload_max_filesize = 50M
php_value post_max_size = 50M

but still i cannot upload media files above 8Mb, what can i do?
Also the admin backend still shows 8Mb how can i change this?

is it possible to have multiple .htaccess files?

Also, i work on a mac where a file is saved as a .rtf filetype. Do i need to change this so the server will understand it? The server is a linux server.

Thanks. How do i execute the file, does it do so automatically when it is uploaded?
And how can i check if the htaccess file works?
