I also getting this “Unable to retrieve status of the export. Is your server running?”. The alert pops up and then the spinning wheel just continues with no change.

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Complicated shortcodes slow to loadDavid, thanks as always. I’ve finally figured out/found the example plugin. I had no idea that it was part of the install! I was looking through the docs and on the plugin page. haha, that’s my mistake – anyway, now that I’ve found it, I have no idea what to do with it. Do I just drop this code into my functions.php file?

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Upgrade breaks MLAYour kindness and responsiveness on this is astounding! Thank you much.
Yes, it seems that, even though it worked in 1.90, it was all superfluous anyway. I’ve deleted that bit of code across the board and everything seems to be working (though it’s still slow! – but I have another ticket open for that and I will investigate your suggestions). I think all is right again with the world.
BTW — L’Shana Tova, my friend. Thanks again!

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Upgrade breaks MLAHi there – – I just updated it to 2.14, removed the group and attachment_tag from the mla_link, and updated the & – – – and it’s not working.
If I delete attachment_tag=”{+request:term_id+}” it works.
If it’s a problem with the term_id, I don’t understand why it would work in 1.90, but not in 2.14?

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Upgrade breaks MLAI turned the debug on.. and I get this on the image page:

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Upgrade breaks MLAIf I update – yes, from 1.90 to 2.14
It seems that the complicated shortcodes don’t work to display anything on the frontend anymore for some reason. The backend looks fine, and the :”individual image” pages will display the image, but not the forward/back links that depend on the short codes.

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Next Link progression through categories slugsDavid –
Thank you so much. I was able to get everything else to work, but getting the Next/Prev Back to Index links to work within the tags was really outside of the scope of the project. If the client requests I move forward with this, or I feel so inclined, I’ll dive back into and give it another go ’round. I really appreciate your help and quick replies! Again, great plugin!

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Next Link progression through categories slugsHA!! I did it. Slow and steady, I suppose. I’m still working on getting a correct short code that will print the tag name of the current image and link back to the tag gallery, if you happen to pop on here before I get it.
Specifically:
I want a link progression that goes:
Sculpture Gallery –> 1990-1994 –> Image 1 –> Image 2 –> Image 3 –> 1990-1994
