Question-

I have a custom post type, but it’s not being pulled onto the front page. Is there an easy way to do this? The Genesis theme I purchased is only pulling in the ‘post’ but not my custom type: ‘podcast’.

Is there an easy way to call CTP into the main loop?

Is there an update coming soon to Podpress? (sorry off topic).

My Podpress still is on 8.8.10.17. And there was an issue with the Stats that never got fixed. Anyhow, just curious.

I am doing the upgrade- and it is taking for-ever.

I’ve stopped it for now. I don’t think it should take an hour. Although it does say I have 1056 entries.

I just got an email from the Debug Option. This stood out as a problem:

Max age 3? ?? I’ve cleared cache a handful of times since yesterday. And this is coming up. How do I change that, and how do you think that happened?

This wp-cron issue didn’t start until the WP-Super Cache plugin was installed.

I created a new thread here, if you can walk us through troubleshooting.

Our blog is lightening fast thanks to WP-Super Cache, but we’re having hiccups, and now we’re noticing this Cron issue.

Our blog is doing this Cron thing right before it goes offline for about 30 seconds. It’s always when we are accessing the dashboard, saving a post, or publishing a post, or clicking on a link in the dashboard.

And we installed WP-Super Cache in like January, so I’m not convinced that this problem was totally fixed.

I believe that these are related to other issues that we’ve had with WP-Super Cache causing “high load” as you call it- so much that is makes https://edreach.us unreachable for about 30secs to 1 minute.

Is there a setting I should change in the backend that would help with this?

Big problem. Please help!

We’re having two problems which I think are also related to WP Super Cache. Since implementing the cache- the blog edreach.us has been lightning fast- that’s great!

However two things are happening.
1. Our feed us updating almost instantaneously, which doesn’t give a publisher much time to make a correction if they make a mistake. We’re about to be adding some big name publishers to this blog in a couple weeks, and I don’t know what’s happening there. We can’t find anyone who knows this plugin.

2. When we hit “publish” or “save” sometimes the blog goes offline for about a minute. That’s a BIG problem for a multi-author blog. No 404 error or anything. My thought was that the pre-load is starting when we make changes and for that second it goes offline.

Same problem- should I enable the Dev version of podpress?

So- we’ve been able to post to those categories for the past week or so- no problem. We have something like 20 category podcast feeds. This is one:

Interesting. I upgraded to 3.5.1, but it is still showing me the old media uploader. I have other versions of WP that show me the new one.

The uploads work though. Should I reinstall WP?

The comment system has disappeared on our Website.

Also- FYI- the update that I saw recently removed most of my preferences including our App ID.

Please update on the status before we lose this plugin.
