I tried following your suggestion and have also looked at the documentation. However, choosing the “Reader” theme makes two versions of the site: Chaplin theme for desktop, and Twenty Twenty theme for mobile.

However, the Twenty Twenty theme for mobile changes a lot of the customisation I have done on pages/posts and render them visually unattractive and unfriendly. Is there a way to get the Chaplin theme for both desktop and mobile versions under the Reader mode.

    Hey @albertomedina,

I’m using the Chaplin theme. Do you recommend I use the “Reader” mode to fix the error?

    Hi @gdandrija,

Thanks for your response. Found it!

    I’ve few further queries.

    1) Is there a way I could change the error and description message for each of the fields?

For instance, I tried putting one checkbox as a declaration towards the end of the form. When I leave it unchecked, it shows the error message “Please select at least one checkbox”. But there is only one checkbox anyway. And so, the ability to customise these messages would be great.

Similarly, the final successful message states “Your message was sent:” along with the form. It would be great to be able to customise the message and provide some links for users to checkout, once they have filled the form.

    2) Is there a way to add Address fields that also has a Country drop-down list.

    3) It would be great to have Phone validation, that is, when users select a country, it displays their country code before the phone field. Also, the phone field, as of now, doesn’t have any kind of validation, and so one can input text characters and get past that field.

    4) Is it possible to include conditional options for fields.

For instance, if user chooses Yes to Q1, they can then skip to Q4. If they choose No, then they proceed with Q2.

I am looking forward to hearing from you!

    Hi @wpmudev-support1,

I created a payment form with a PayPal submission button at the end. I chose your plugin especially because it allowed me to create a payment option as part of the form itself. The form is part of a submission process where people can sign up to the only service I’m offering and so it is paramount that it works 100%.

After my initial support query to you, I also realised that some of the other fields were not working. And so, I have decided to suspend using your form for now and am looking for alternatives.

    Hi @gdandrija,

Thank you so much for your response!

I’m now going to use CoBlocks just because I’m impressed by your patience and support ??

At this stage, I’m running it with two other block plugins, but I’m hoping that your developers add new features and functionalities soon so that I don’t have to run multiple plugins.

    Cheers!

    Hi Andrija,

Thank you so much for your response!

I have recently returned to WordPress after a couple of years. I’m now starting a blog after I lost my job to COVID, hoping that it will some day provide me with a source of income. And so, it is important for me that my blog reflects industry’s best standards and is visually appealing and functionally effective. And so, I started looking at Blocks that can extend Gutenberg’s core functionality. I have found that there are a number of such plugins, but most of them lack certain core functionalities.

For instance, let’s take an example of one blog post. To make a killer and SEO-friendly blog post, it is imperative that it has a Header, Table of Contents, schema-based FAQs, more social share options, among other things.

Now some plugins do Animated Header better than others (e.g., Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg), but they don’t do Click to Tweet or advanced social share. Some (e.g., Ultimate Blocks) do Click to Tweet and Table of Contents, but not Header or schema-FAQs or gallery. You get the point….

As I have been with GoDaddy for the past 8 years, I was delighted to see CoBlocks plugin from them. And that is when I decided to reach out and seek assistance from you.

And so, an option to have animated headers, different posts layouts, schema-powered FAQs and table of contents, content timeline, teams, progress and counter bars, and video popup/background, among other things, would be amazing!

Thank you again for your message! I am looking forward to additional features CoBlocks includes moving forward ??

I have a similar query. I have been using Forminator for the past few weeks and everything seemed fine. However, I recently noticed that one of my forms (I only have two forms) doesn’t show the final submission/send message button at the end of the form. The end button is connected to PayPal payment.

    Please help!

    Hi Andrija,

    Thank you for the response!

Apologies as I didn’t know that WordPress natively came with schema options. Could you indicate where I can find them?

After experimenting with a number of plugins that more or less offer some of the same and some different inclusions, the following would be great to have (not in any order):

    Animated header
    Tabs content area
    Table of contents
    Scroll to a section/Anchor block
    Email subscriber block
    Schema powered blocks
    Search block
    Team block
    Products block
    Video upload
    Advanced maps
    Advanced social share
    Countdown
    Progress bar block
    Counter block
    Expand block

    Many thanks!

Is there a way to only do this for the home page, leaving the other pages untouched?

It would be great to have a Sidebar ??

    Hi there,

Is there a way to customise the logo size so that it renders well depending on the device (so a bit bigger for desktops and tablets, and a bit smaller for phones)?

    Thanks.

Thank you @corrinarusso for your comments. So you’re saying that I will not lose my content then?

You are right – I should pick and theme and go for it. The reason I’m a bit worried about being locked into a theme is because I want to develop the website as I go (I guess most people do it that way anyway). I’m not sure if these theme builders will give me that option to expand and scale up at a later stage.

So for instance, I want to plan this as:

Stage 1: Home, About, Services, Contact, and Blog – (I will have this for now)

Stage 2: I will gradually like to create an ecommerce page and a member’s area.

And so, I’m not sure if I should pick a theme now that already has all of these (Stage 1+2) integrated (like Astra) or build Stage 1 with a page builder (like Elementor) for now and then look at seperate plugins at a later stage for ecommerce and member’s area. What would you suggest?

The more I research this on the internet the more confusing it gets. I am having the same issue with hosting for instance. Some reviewers (e.g., youtube) suggest that BlueHost is an excellent company because they are recommended by WordPress, but then there are others who say that it is owned by EIG which has a bad reputation. I have found the same for DreamHost customer support. So I don’t know if any of the recommended hosts are good. And finally, which hosting provider should I go with….
