In reply to: [Revision Manager TMC] Improper .gitignore Settings Causing Issues with GitWould love to hear the future of this plugin. It seems like everyone is switching over to Yoast Duplicate Post now – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/duplicate-post/

In reply to: [WP Recipe Maker] Very Active Plugin@brechtvds IMHO it makes more sense to link WPRM block to one post at a time and integrate it with post revisions, but as you said it won’t be backwards compatible.
In any way, thanks so much for breaking things down! It’s always good to understand things from your end.

In reply to: [WP Recipe Maker] Very Active Plugin@brechtvds just curious — why would a recipe ever need to be part of multiple posts? Wouldn’t that be considered a bad SEO practice, since it’s duplicate content?

In reply to: [WP Recipe Maker] Very Active Plugin@brechtvds I didn’t realize WPRM have their own revisions. Wouldn’t it be more intuitive to include a revision shortcut on WPRM block when editing a post. See example.
Also, I am sure you’ve already thought of this, but why not logging WPRM revision ID on post save? That way when a post rolls back, it loads the correct WPRM revision?
Thx!

In reply to: [Revision Manager TMC] [BUG] Revision Publish DateHi, I am not able to provide admin access. We’ll work on our end to determine the cause and will keep you updated.

In reply to: [Revision Manager TMC] [BUG] Revision Publish DateI found that clicking on Trash triggers auto-save and changes the Publish date.
https://storyxpress.co/video/ktatpcy7nsuhe2c84As mentioned earlier, something else is also causing the Publish date to change on random intervals for all our editors. I cannot seem to pinpoint the issue.

In reply to: [Revision Manager TMC] [BUG] Revision Publish DateHi – I think I found more info on where the bug is coming from! It’s pretty complicated.
We do have the “Yes, after revision acceptance, replace date.” selected, but I figured out that the issue is not coming from this option.
Usually, when you create a revision post, it sets the revision post publish date to “Immediately”. (see screenshot)
However, I noticed that on some of the revision post, the publish date is set to a random date. It’s not the same date as the revision post was created. It’s a date that the revision post was edited. (see screenshot)
This lead me to this discovery. I noticed that the Publish date on revision posts changes randomly while the revision post is being edited. I had it change on me when I clicked Publish, then Cancel, then Save Draft. I was not able to replicate it when I tried recording a screencast.
Maybe some JS call is causing a collision, or maybe auto-save is causing the publish date to alter.

In reply to: [Revision Manager TMC] modified and publish date are switchedI believe this is the same bug as I’m experiencing – https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/bug-revision-publish-date/
Hi – creating a Form inside the ConvertKit did the trick. It would be helpful if the error was updated for ConvertKit users to say “Form”. Or better yet, it’d be a lot more intuitive if the integration page required the “ConvertKit Forms” selection.
