In reply to: Adding H1 and H2 – easy option?Okay, that’s what I was thinking of doing, and then I’ll amend the templates so that the subject line’s always h2, h3’s already installed. Thanks for clearing that up for me!

In reply to: Adding H1 and H2 – easy option? Thanks Andrew, so if I use h2 on the subject and h3 somewhere in the text, is that going to be okay with an h1 in the header, or should I also use an h1 in the body?
A typical page looks like this: https://www.drunkenwerewolf.com/blog/introducing-eyes-gertrude/

In reply to: Adding H1 and H2 – easy option?1) Considering I’m not hugely good at code, is that going to be do-able my end? What is the code that needs inserting, a simply < h2 >?
2) Like I say, I don’t full understand code. In physical appearance, the design of the site negates the use of h1, i.e. the developer has used font size 15 instead of h1/font size 13 instead of h2. That’s the crux of the issue. I’ll make the h1 appear in the strap line at the top of every page – I’m aware you can only have one h1, and that you need to have them in sequence.
3) I think the majority of our readers do use a graphic browser, but I appreciate what you’re saying. That’s exactly why I want to insert h1/h2, so that the design makes sense to Google etc.

In reply to: Adding H1 and H2 – easy option?(And I do think the design speaks for itself in terms of navigation – the issue is the web developers not used h1/2 specifically, not that the site lacks structure)

In reply to: Adding H1 and H2 – easy option?Thank you. In that case, is there a way to use h2 on subject titles? That’s ultimately what they are, it’s just that we don’t currently use < h2 > because the design negates its physical use.
Likewise, the design of the homepage negates the use of < h1 >, although I can reorganise the home page slightly to add an h1 to the header bar.

In reply to: Adding H1 and H2 – easy option? Thanks for being sarky. I’m not a web developer, that’s why we’ve hired one. I am asking for your help, after all. Perhaps if you’re not willing to give it to me, you should leave this post for someone else to deal with?
The issue is H1 text is gigantic and putting it at the top of the page would frankly look ridiculous – I’d prefer to have substandard SEO. Is there a way of hiding the code, or alternatively where do you suggest putting it?
The home page is: https://www.drunkenwerewolf.com – as you can see, this can’t be a case of selecting pre-existing text for h1 as the home page is very graphics based.

In reply to: Adding H1 and H2 – easy option?Okay, I’m guessing the home page is the most important? Would you suggest putting the h1/2 tags in a specific place? I’ll put them in one of the footers if not.

In reply to: Adding H1 and H2 – easy option?Hey Esmi,
I thought that might be the case, but that will involve re-hiring the web developer and I’d like to sort *something* in the meantime. Any suggestions?

In reply to: Bueno header image help(Also if this forum is unable to help then why are there multiple threads regarding the Bueno theme on here? That’s how I found this forum in the first place, after all).

In reply to: Bueno header image helpEsmi, clearly this confusion has pissed you off and for that inconvenience I apologise.
As a moderator, it will probably help you to know that during this conversation I’ve contacted DreamHost and they’ve suggested that to get support regarding this theme I go to the www.ads-software.com forum. They have also confirmed that I categorically cannot get access to the Woothemes support forum without purchasing something from them completely removed from my DreamHost account.
If, as you point out, www.ads-software.com forums are not able or willing to help then there’s a clear loophole here for paying customers. Perhaps www.ads-software.com, Dreamhost and Woothemes should discuss this amongst themselves? I’m just looking, clearly in vain, for a forum that will help me with my problem.

In reply to: Bueno header image helpDreamHost provide a www.ads-software.com platform via their One-Click Installs. In order to use their WordPress install, you must first have a www.ads-software.com account. I have installed this platform and am using, free of charge, the Bueno theme, hense I’m confident that one way or another www.ads-software.com via DreamHost does provide Bueno free of charge to the customer. Whether DreamHost have purchased the Woothemes or what, I don’t know, but the crux of the matter is I haven’t purchased a Wootheme and therefore can’t access the Wootheme support forum.
Obviously the moderators here do not think support should be available to me but thank you for taking the time to at least read my problem.

In reply to: Bueno header image helpNo, it’s hosted via DreamHost’s www.ads-software.com template.

In reply to: Bueno header image helpIf you’re seeing this page while you are logged into our site then it means that you do not have access to our support forum and knowledge base. To gain access to these features you need to purchase any of our themes, plugins or WooCommerce extensions, or sign up for our theme club.
I haven’t purchased anything, I’m using a free theme provided to me via www.ads-software.com, and I’m not about to purchase something just so I can get some CSS advice. I’d prefer to employ a designer!

In reply to: Bueno header image helpHi Esmi,
Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to be an option – does anyone have a link to a WooTheme/Bueno forum? Because I can’t find one.
