If you want to resolve this you can do the following:

Add CDATA tags like so.

<script>
//<![CDATA[
SCRIPT CODE
//]]>
</script>

I found the solution to this error. I thought the plugin was removed but the files did not delete. Deactivating and “completely deleting” All In One SEO Version 1.6.15.2 | By Michael Torbert from the plugins directory on your server and reinstalling/reactivating the plugin fixed the problem.
