In reply to: [Smartline Lite] There are no bullet pointsThanks for the reply. I was actually after suggestions on which themes do not behave like Smartline.
Are newer themes all of them besides Smartline or are there others that use a CSS reset that I would want to avoid as well?
Thanks

In reply to: [Smartline Lite] There are no bullet pointsFound a 10 month old post with the same problem.
What are the suggestions for a newer theme then?
From the one that’s no good, I liked the left/right side bar, and the two top menu bars I could have and the footer menu bar.
I spent 2 days trying to change the CSS to use my colours (never done it before), all wasted ??

In reply to: Category AlignmentHi
Thanks for the reply but unfortunately I am not a member of there site. Looks like I need to pay.I am the 3rd party user of the Divi theme and it was supplied by a developer I used. I would rather not trouble them with this if I can avoid it.
I was hoping someone here could shed some light on this issue instead.

In reply to: [Twenty Ten] Product image becomes header imageThis is now resolved.
I noticed the new product image’s size was larger than the header image, so for some reason the theme would use the larger instead!
I have no PHP or code knowledge however line 86 looks suspicious.
Just thought I’d update and maybe get a 2nd opinion

In reply to: Automatic Category Menu GenerationI take it back, it’s not working properly. One of the subcategories is showing up in the wrong parent category. Also on the category it’s supposed to be in there is a flyout arrow for the submenu category “Contact tips” but nothing is displayed
Gas Equipment>Gas Torches>Contact Tips (Contact tips should not be there)
MIG Welding>MIG Torches (where it should be and where the display no-show error is)Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Automatic Category Menu GenerationI have seem to have managed to solve this issue by following the instructions at https://phpsmashcode.com/tips-and-tricks/dynamically-populate-woocommerce-product-category-terms-wordpress-navigation-menu by adding the quoted code sections to the functions.php file & changing the menu ID.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Invalid or Duplicated SKU 4.9.1Just to update my own post;
I think I’ve sorted it using a plugin that seems to be made for this, it’s called “SKU Error Fixer for Woocommerce” which is in the plugin directory.
I’ve check it on one offending product and it’s working.

In reply to: [Storefront] Adding text or address to footer barThanks, I will persevere trying figure out what custom css to use using widgets.
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Storefront] Adding text or address to footer barHi @jobthomas – thanks for your reply. You can ignore the bit about the “Insert headers and Footers” plugin, I’ve found out from another forum section that this is meant for scripting or for Google type stuff.
The new plugin I used called “Storefront Footer Text” works – though just okay results, but I prefer it over using Widgets.
You can see what I currently have at drweld.co.uk and what I’d like to achieve on this image that i created in Paint link
If I use Widgets in column 1 and column 4, it does work, but the footer height ends up quite large and the spacing between the lines is large as well. Image with Widgets I have been trying to find amongst the files some settings to change but I also have the concern it would have adverse effects on different size screens if I do it using the wrong method.

In reply to: Adding a text box within the footerThanks Andrew, I will try that.
Thanks Ross, I’ve tried that, it makes the footer larger in height.
