Hi Jeff,
I have been in contact with my hosting provider support and this is their response:
“I understand your issue, the ModSecurity is blocking the ‘User Submitted Posts’ Plugin. You can remove the ModSecurity restriction by adding the below code in ‘.htaccess’ file.
=========
< IfModule mod_security.c> SecFilterEngine Off SecFilterScanPOST Off < /IfModule>
However, I had read elsewhere that it’s a bad idea to alter the ModSecurity restriction.
It does work, but do you have any thoughts on this?
Thanks,
David
Hi Jeff,
I have completed the troubleshooting steps you suggested and still get the 403 error.
I changed the theme to 2020, deactivated all the plugins except Wordfence Security, WP Total Cache, and yours, but I still get the same error every time I try to save the changes. Thanks
Happy New Year.
The issue I have with the proposed solution is that I have 23 plugins to work through to identify which one is causing the issue. When I send a test notification to myself I only receive one email, so I’m not convinced that this method will help me identify the weak link. Any thoughts or suggestions on how to troubleshoot?
Thanks
Sorry about that and Merry Christmas. I keep losing the email thread on my phone. Now, after several complaints from the small user base on my website, I want to concentrate on getting this fixed.
I can confirm that I am using WP 5.3.2–en_AU and BNFW Version 1.7.5
Hi thanks for the reply and apologies for not getting in touch sooner. In answer to your questions:
1) I don’t use Gutenburg
2) I am using default WordPress to build pages
3) I have no membership plugins installed.
4) No I don’t tweet any posts as the site is semi-private.Thanks
I am only writing posts from the back-end but all my readers are receiving duplicate post notifications. Any reason why this may be occurring?
Thanks

In reply to: [Customizr] Checkboxes not displaying in CustomizrAnd Voila! I had version 2.0.1 installed but the new version is 2.0.2
What I don’t understand is why these updates aren’t being flagged through the WordPress update menu… but my problem is solved! Thanks again.

In reply to: [Customizr] Checkboxes not displaying in CustomizrShould I install the latest version of the the theme via FTP and see if that rectifies it? I am using a child theme.

In reply to: [Customizr] Checkboxes not displaying in CustomizrI do have two error messages in Google Chrome console that states:
load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,json2,jquery-ui-core,jquery-ui-datepicker,pl…:4 Mixed Content: The page at 'https://boreelanewines.com.au/wp-admin/customize.php?return=%2Fwp-admin%2F' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image 'https://www.google.com/images/logos/google_logo_41.png'. This content should also be served over HTTPS.
https://boreelanewines.com.au/wp-content/plugins/tc-unlimited-featured-pages/back/assets/css/img/green.png Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
As for changes to the site since I launched it back in October, I have only added three plugins which I have disabled to see if that rectifies the problem – which it has not, unfortunately. When I click on the arrows to open the menu beneath, I get a large green block that covers the menu links below and the toggle arrows disappear.
Also, someone else has raised this as an issue back on the 4th Feb:

Hi Nicolas, I love the Customizr theme and it’s been a great find for my Institute. I do have two question.1. A couple of upgrades ago the boxes that show up within the “Customise” area are no longer visible. Have you heard of this problem?
“Until recently” would be about 6 weeks ago.
Thanks
Ok, scratch that. I rechecked my sidebar links for a PDF that I was linking to, and that seems to have rectified it.

In reply to: [Customizr] 3.2.1 Sticky Menu TransparencyI know this has been marked as resolved but when I apply this change my background still remains transparent. I have tried refreshing the page and emptying the page cache but that has no effect.
