Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, I don’t understand it. I’ll try to be more specific. Suppose that I have a website page that contains a timeline using style number 3 (which only shows one day at a time.) And suppose the timeline has the most important news story for each day of the month of January. When a person clicks on a link to that “news” page from my homepage, by default they will only see the news story for January 1 and will have to click on the forward arrow to go to the next day. Correct?

But suppose I want everyone to see an important event that happened on January 12. Can I put a link on my homepage to send the user to the news timeline page and have it display the event for January 12? In other words, the user would first see January 12 and would have to click on the forward or back arrow to see days events after or before January 12.

I want to stick with the default uploading method for theme 2017, which has worked in the past with other mp4 files. There’s something different about the one that failed but i can’t figure out what it is.

Tom, thank you so much for your reply! I got the menu plugin because I couldn’t figure out how to use the menu system in the default theme twenty Seventeen. But, I’ll take your advice and concentrate on learning the system by asking, how do I get the menus I’ve created to show up on the page, instead of just in the WordPress side bar?
