I would have expected that I could utilise the login, edit-profile and register functions together in some workable way without necessarily having to purchase the Pro version. I want to provide these functions to users initially in an application that I am developing for a community service. Until I have some traction for what I am doing I prefer to just use what is available via the free version.
Hence I would appreciate some suggestion of how to make the edit-profile page accessible in a simple way.

I have had a conversation with the person who developed this aspect of my site and the problem may be because the new ticker had a dependency on the Ditty RSS Ticker extension, the plugin for which I seem to have inadvertently deleted. Originally I believe that this extension plugin had been free, but now it seems it would require a payment of $15 per annum.
Unfortunately I cannot post a screenshot here but the News Ticker that seems to have been operational is defined as follows:
Title = click to see all links
Type = rss
Mode = scroll
Shortcode = [ditty_news_ticker id=”6640″]
Direct function = <?php if(function_exists(‘ditty_news_ticker’)){ditty_news_ticker(6640);} ?>

Now for no apparent reason posts are appearing again by default in Visual text mode. I haven’t touched my plugins.

No facility here to provide a screen capture as far as I can see.
To reiterate if I enter the following text into the Default | Purpose field on the Setting page of the plugin:

“If there is too much text entered into this field then after the Donate button is pressed a user will not see all the text with the extra amount of text that cannot be displayed being truncated. Whatever is entered in this field one would expect to be seen by a user who presses the Donate button.”
