In reply to: [Advanced Custom Fields: Extended] Submit button html disappears after saveAh, I am using a multisite and as a single sub-site admin is when the issue presents itself. I can save fine as a super-admin.
Gotcha! So by default with no block plugins it would be native only? Then based on plugins installed, even if not active?
Thanks for getting back to me!
Icons are always useful, so am all for that.
I pulled in latest and there are less that appear. But they aren’t completely accurate. Initially I only had EditorsKit installed, then added ACF Blocks. Now I also added Atomic and UAG plugins, but they don’t appear at all on list. And others that I don’t have installed to test are listed. See this screenshot.
Wow, that’s a quick response!
I was hoping/wondering if that filter could only show what plugins are already installed. So the ones that are not don’t appear on that filter. So the content creators only see templates they can use without asking for a new plugin to be installed. Does that make sense?

By this you mean install a second WordPress site within a sub-directory? I believe the htaccess file off the parent/root basically takes over both installations. This link has some good documentation to review: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory
If you are meaning moving the code to a sub-directory I’d review what’s documented here about moving the wp-content directory: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Editing_wp-config.php#Moving_wp-content_folder
If that is more what you mean, may be worth looking at Bedrock too: https://roots.io/bedrock/

In reply to: How to translate home page(polylang and invert lite theme)? If there is no way to set the homepage this may be complicated. If you can set the homepage using a WordPress page then you can have one be one language and the other another and so on. Same if it’s widgetized. Polylang works when you are able to do that.
So using a multisite will provide a single user base, so one login for all sites. However it’s just a main site and subsites, meaning:
example.com
example.com/subsite1
example.com/subsite2
example.com/subsite3
etc. This is also possible as sub-domains. That is determined when the multisite is setup. There is no 3rd level of subsites in a default multisite setup.
Hope that helps!

In reply to: Public domain and private subdomain – multisite or not ?If I am understanding correctly, I’d try keep things simple and just use one single site. Having a separation as you describe could be confusing to users. It could be simpler to user and it’s one login for either. bbPress allows for Public, Private and Hidden forums so you can invite only the users you want to each specific forum outside of the public ones.
For content you could use the Members plugin to limit what roles can see what types of content as well as on a post by post basis.
In general I’d recommend starting small and then if you find this doesn’t meet your needs it can be extended over time.

In reply to: [Event post] repeat event dateYeah, being able to display recurring events would be great. What is needed for this option to be added?
Thanks for updates and reference to issues.
