Hello and copy to @wpmudevsupport12 FYI
I switched back from Pro version to the free one for a client because he needed Paypal subscriptions and he was paying his membership for 2 years for nothing as this option has still not yet been implemented.
But I’m very surprised to see that you still advertise this in your promotional page inside the free version installation as an option for the Pro version!
Create Recurring/Subscription Payment Forms
Start accepting recurring Stripe/PayPal subscription payments on your WordPress sites with Forminator Pro. Add multiple payment fields and conditionally process them based on form values selected by your users. How dare you?
@jdembowski I fully understand and agree with you.
But, in this particular case, the support guys at WPMUDEV asked my client to contact their support here as they were not sure about this procedure to follow for the free version. In fact, this question relates for 50% to the pro version and 50% to the free one.
Now, everything is clear and sorry for the confusion.
Hi @wpmudevsupport12 and many thanks for this.
I well know what FTP is but my question related to what exactly to do with th folders. Anyhow, no problem, I’ll follow the recommendation for uninstall/install through WP dashboard.
Thanks again for you kind help.
Thanks Nithin, that’s useful indeed.
At last, I would say as the feedback my client has been getting so far was terrible… The account for the pro version is not in my name, as I’m only the dev, but in my client’s name. It’s about a site with the extension .ngo for which he had 2 different chats yesterday.Pro settings have indeed already been set with “preserve” and this is a very important information.
Just to be sure:
– FTP: what do you mean exactly? Upload the free version on its own new folder and simply delete the Pro version folder?
– WP Dashboard: what is the exact procedure? Deactivate and delete Pro version first and then just install and activate the free version? It goes without saying that I only want to preserve the standard forms we have on the site and that we will lose Stripe and Paypal payment features by doing so but related forms were not in use anyhow as the promised Paypal subscription option that we needed has never been implemented and my client paid this subscription for nothing during those 2 years.
Thanks.
Thanks Kris, this is what I needed to know and that’s why Stripe will not work for our client’s specific requirements and also why he bought your PRO version a couple of years ago (when this was announced) and he is still waiting for this feature with Paypal to be implemented.
Really a shame we are still on standby with this.
Thanks Kasia.
– Are there still plans for implementing it on Paypal or has this idea been dropped?
– How clients unsubscribe from existing recurring payments when paying with Stripe without a Stripe account – or do they heed having a Stripe account for that?Forum: Plugins

I just replied to your email and this issue is a total mystery as I now have 2 sites (online and a clone from a previous backup) with the same latest version installed and the issue only appears at the online version. The only difference between both sites is that the clone had version 3.0.0 installed and then I updated to version 3.1.1 directly, without transiting to version 3.1.0 – whilst the online went through version 3.1.0.
You’ll get all links in the email – thanks for checking them out!

In reply to: [Visual Portfolio, Photo Gallery & Post Grid] Migration to v3Helo,
Having some issues with the latest versions and with hover actions. I don’t remember exactly how I did this in the beginning but, in order to get something nice on mobiles, I had setup Saved Layouts that were displaying both the background and the caption. Now I get a black background and the image displays only on hover and this is precisely what I didn’t want.
For most of them, it seems that the skin has been changed to Fade and when reverting to Classic it works again but not for all of them!
Some now display the title below the image and not on superimpose when switching to Classic skin.
I’m sending you more details by email, thanks.

In reply to: [DX Delete Attached Media] Conflict with Post SMTP pluginIs this latest version 2.0.4.1 the correct one to install for solving this issue?
Don’t well understand what “revert to v 3” really means…2.0.4.1
- Revert to version 2.0.3
2.0.4
- Fixed plugin conflict with Post SMTP
