I’ve worked it out – the new version of types has menu item called toolset (instead of types)
My other problem was that the xml file for types (1.3) wasn’t downloading – it was opening in a new window. When I copied this to a notepad file and saved then it did something to the format was wasn’t uploading properly. I had to save the webpage as an xml file before it would upload
