In reply to: [WooCommerce Legacy REST API] Can I disable the legacy API?Hi @mrtrufini1
From your screenshot, and your message, I see you have Legacy API enabled and you would like to know if it is safe to disable it.
To determine if it is safe to disable, can you remember why it was enabled in the first place? By default, the API is disabled except something on your site requires it, and since it is enabled on your site, it means something needed it.
Can you recollect when or why this was enabled? If you can find out, and you no longer need that function, then you can safely disable it. You do not need to have WooCommerce APIs enabled on your store for it to function, except you are doing something that requires the API.
I hope this helps.

@specstanza Thanks for sharing what worked for you. I believe this will be very helpful to the community.
While Jetpack is not required to run WooCommerce Payments, it does help resolve some issues like in this case.

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Unsupported Post Request error for every productHowdy @amnamn180
Sorry to hear about this. I’m guessing the error code you are getting is Error 524. If this is correct, then this error code is generally related to Cloudflare.
If you temporarily disable Cloudflare for your site, does updating a product work better then?
If this isn’t the correct error, or you do not use Cloudflare, or it just doesn’t work, let us know, along with a copy of your site’s System Status. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

I see that this is somehow linked to a previous thread you. have open here – https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/admin-permission-required-you-dont-have-permission-to-edit-these-settings-3/
Just to confirm – have you tried the steps recommended by @battouly? Let me copy and paste the steps for your reference:
Something went wrong. This may be because of a technical error that we’re working to get fixed. Try reloading this page.
It sounds like there is confusion still going on due to the first account you attempted to connect to.
Please ensure you have 2FA enabled for the Facebook account you are using
Next, Go to
business.facebook.com > all tools > business applications
. From there, uninstall the WooCommerce Integration and add it again. Then go back to

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Whoops, looks like something went wrong.Howdy @antoniomg85
Is this the first time you are connecting? Do you have access to logs? You can check if the fatal error logs for the date you last tried connecting have any details on what might be happening with Facebook for WooCommerce. If it does, please let us know what the logs say.
You can find logs via WooCommerce > Status > Logs
Hello @viandascook and @lidiachez85
It will be helpful to open your own forum threads so that we can individually troubleshoot the behavior you are seeing on your site. While it may be the same error message, it may not be the same root cause and hence not the same solution. I recommend also checking your site to see if there are logs available that will be able to tell us more about the connection problem you have on your site.
@decoactive Thanks for sharing what works for you.
Howdy @birnenhans
The logs you shared which includes Failed to connect to Facebook. Reason: {
“message”: “This authorization code has been used.” indicates an error that we have consistently seen within the last few days and may be something we need to investigate closely. Please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page. Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.
We will be able to investigate and help you further there.

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] An error has occurredHello @yingfeu
Thanks for reporting back.
Do you have any error logs in WooCommerce? Have you checked for one? Can you check and provide logs (if available) for today or for whatever day you last tried to connect? The error messages recorded in the logs will be beneficial towards understanding and resolving the issue you are currently facing on your site.
If logs are not available or not already enabled, go to Marketing > Facebook > Connection and select the optoon “Enable debug mode”, then try connecting again. Once done, try to connect again; if the error happens, go to WooCommerce > Status > Logs > Select the Facebook log under drop-down (right side) > Click – View button
@voelgoed Kindly create a new topic for your case so we can troubleshoot individually. You can create a new topic on this forum via this link. This allows us to share information and troubleshooting steps specific to your site if general solutions do not work.

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] An error has occurredHello @yingfeu
While this error can occur for a few different reasons, the most common seems to be in relation to Facebook’s supported currencies.
If your WooCommerce default currency is not on this list, some folks have had success temporarily changing their currency to a supported one (USD, CAD, GBP, EUR) to connect and then changing it back afterward.
We mentioned it in the docs here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/#oops-something-went-wrong-error
Share updates if that helped or if it did not fix your problem.

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Connection Made but Something Went WrongHowdy @pelaskouf
Sorry to hear about that! It looks like the Facebook connection didn’t set up correctly.
Here are a few steps you can take to fix this:
- Ensure that you are both the admin and owner of the Facebook assets
- Confirm you have 2FA enabled for the Facebook account you are using
- Go to https://kivotosjewelry.com/wp-admin/options.php and search for
wc_facebook_external_business_id
- Update field to include only supported characters and save (best practice: store-name-dfsdc3lck9k6q ← 13-digit random string
- Go back to WooCommerce > Facebook and click “Get Started” again
Let us know how that goes!

Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
Also, can you check if you have Facebook logs enabled? Check via Marketing > Facebook > Enable debug log.
If logs are enabled, we’d like to see them as well. You can find logs via WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
If any of the information requested is one you would rather not share on a public forum, then kindly contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Save settings is not clickableHowdy @agrolsy
Thanks for sharing a screenshot to help us understand better.
I am unable to reproduce this case on my end. Can you confirm if this has never worked or only stopped working recently?
The nature of the errors leads me to believe that this might be a conflict of some sort, especially as I am unable to replicate this on a test site. You might want to try creating a staging site and having just WooCommerce and the Storefront theme alongside Facebook for WooCommerce installed. Then see if you are able to reproduce this.
Our guide to running a conflict test is here.
Thanks!
Hi @tamas1989
Thanks for your response.
Can you please confirm if the error comes up for you when connecting for the first time or after you disconnected and tried to reconnect (as the bug report indicates)?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
You generally will not be able to use Facebook for WooCommerce, or any plugins that require connection – like payment gateways) on a locally-hosted site. You will need to test the plugin when the site is hosted on a live server.
I hope this helps!
