In reply to: [ColorMag] Additional line added to footer.phpI did delete it immediately, and it did make a difference.
However, my worry is that the file had been edited or hacked by someone – not me.

In reply to: [wpForo Forum] ReCaptcha 3Thanks.
I’ve configured with reCAPTCHA V2 with “I’m not a robot tickbox”. There were errors raised when configuring a new user but now seems to be OK.

In reply to: [SiteAlert (Formerly WP Health)] Really useful pluginHi Frank
I can’t think of anything at the moment but will let you know if I have a suggestion.
Well, one minor point – a user name of “admin” could be highlighted as yellow, rather than green.

In reply to: [Yoast Duplicate Post] Stop beggingHi Rasmus
I haven’t seen any “dark pattern, spamming or begging”, just a simple request for a VOLUNTARY contribution to help out in the continuing development of this plugin. There are so many other apps that do the same thing, so what’s the problem?
I don’t suppose you work for free, do you?
There is so much valuable contribution from WordPress plugin developers, that we must be grateful for all their work, and perhaps give a small amount to show our appreciation.
Thanks for this plugin, Lopo. it has really saved me a lot of time!

In reply to: Plugin similar to NextdoorHi James
Sorry, I just noticed this reply today. I have looked at Buddypress before but don’t expect to use it. Thanks for your help, anyway!

OK. Thanks.
The only options on the Optimize -> Database page are :
Re-run Install -> Install now!
Search Table -> convert now!
So which of these is needed? Possibly the re-run install, but it’s not clear.
I’ve just checked, and your calendar is working now, so how did you resolve the problem? I get exactly the same message “There are no upcoming events to display at this time.”

In reply to: Endless messages for updating 3.7.1I tried on a different computer and it resolved itself.

In reply to: [Online Backup for WordPress] Unable to open ZIP fileHi Jason
I’ve been away on holiday for 3 weeks and haven’t had a chance to do anything yet. It will take a few days before I can try out you new download and I’ll let you know the results.

In reply to: [Online Backup for WordPress] Unable to open ZIP fileCertainly
I have only just created a site which I am testing, and the backup must be small compared to most. It is 27.4MB.
Let me have the email address to send the file.
Another thing – If I download the file in Chrome, it gets to 0% remaining, but does not complete even after a few minutes. I repeated this a number of times, but also without any success. Choosing the email option results in the file appearing in my inbox. I used Firefox without any problem (apart from the file not opening!).
