I am still having this problem (I’m the originator of this thread – its hard trying to filter through the replies to follow, sorry if you’ve said anything specific to me that I have missed).

I tried the link to matt’s blog and it worked, but linking to mine still doesn’t.

Double checked that they are jetpack connected and the ones I tried had the latest jetpack.

I have 5 sites I’m trying to use with this feature and they are all on the same shared server.

Tried the debug as well and it came back relatively quickly. (However I’m in Australia and we don’t necessarily have fast speeds here so my okay speed could be your slow ?? )

This issue is no longer a problem for me.

I too have just noticed this issue.

Its been happening now for last few weeks for me on a permanent basis (the sites it was working on stopped working too after the last update) – so i’ve removed the widgets from all 5 sites that were using it as i don’t like viewing things that don’t work. I doubt I’ll revisit the feature anytime soon. Thanks anyway – appreciate your response.

I still have this problem, after updating to 2.9.2. I’m removing the widget now.

I’ve started a new thread for myself just in the hopes this issue might catch the developers eye if more of us report it. I see DWood is suggesting it could be an encoding bug.

The latest update has resolved this issue for me.

The previous versions are found under the tab, “developers” for the plugin.

I downloaded 1.4.24.

The only way I know how to roll back is to deactivate and delete the new plugin and resinstall the previous version you want to use.

You can upload the zipped file of the older version you save to your local computer from the above page under Installed Plugins, Add New, Upload

This does mean having to set up the plugin again. (Before removing I recommend writing down your setup choices to make it easier to re-select them).

There may be an easier way to roll back but this has worked for me (I’m no WordPress guru.)

I think the ‘error’ may have been related to how much of the header image is visible before and after scrolling down a page.

For me, more of the header image is visible before you scroll down. When I scroll back up, some of the header image is cropped at the top.

With Troyane’s code
The same amount of header image is visible before and after scrolling, however its now cropping the top of the header image permanently for me in both instances.

My header image is loaded at the recommended size 1600 X 400.

While I’d prefer to the header image to not be cropped, its not a big issue for me that it crops it when I scroll back up. I had noticed the issue and wondered if this fixed it.

I have this problem with 7 websites (same provider) as well. The recommendation to go back to version 1.4.24 has certainly helped – hope they bring back support for PHP 5.3 in the next update too.

Thanks! Error log showed the theme was having issues so changed it back to twentyfourteen using phpmyadmin.

And now that I have gone through WordPress Seo and reset all the settings this is happening:

From static front page: menu works fine, category links working again, but page 2 is appearing below the footer again.

From all other pages – only 1st level menu items work.

Again no issue using wordpress seo with other websites (I have 6). This is the only one using customizr.
