Ive got a similar problem, but a slight variation of the theme, and yes, I’ve tried the codex suggestions and still same message. The message has only occured after I changed hosts (no problems on the last one) and is as follows:

I can post but after posting the admin interface freezes and I get an additional line to the error

any thoughts would be appreciated

Gave this a try, managed to freeze any pages loading just by being activated. Tried to find the wpPaginate text that is said to cause problems but couldn’t find. Any other thoughts?

See, the problem is now ManXP is that in showing us your “other” blog I cant help but think that your failure to customise your new blog is nothing more than laziness, but at the end of the day the truth is that 90% of blogs never get more than a handful of viewers, so if you want to spend time posting on a generic blog template, go for it, as a friend use to say: baaaa to you to.

I’ll agree, pretty, but make the text more white, spacing and font is good but a little hard to read on black, change it from the current silver to “ffffff”

I’ve really got to get my act together and upgrade to 1.5 so I can use this!

ManXP, its nice to see that you want to help others, but seriously, without wanting to hurt your feelings, the others comments here are spot on, you don’t even seem to be able to customise a template, and to be quite honest, you need to be around for a while and build up some sort of credibility before people take you seriously, or in my case start flaming you vicously ??

My advice, work on your core blog, participate in and read other blogs on a similar subject, and really get to know your stuff before you set out on helping others.

PS Why wouldn’t you want to bring in revenue to the site? its not evil you know, as long as you post an editorial policy and focus on content and not advertising, then you’ll be ok.

I’ve read before that PHP blogs are not suppose to be up to the job, but I’ve often thought this to be pushed by the Perl lobby, I’ve got to say that my run with WordPress in terms of stability has been a whole lot better then some of its perl based rivals, and this is with 1600+ posts and goodness knows how many comments.

Well unless proven otherwise, like if Matt gets back from Italy and tells us all where to go and it was all part of some evil plan, which lets face it is highly unlikely, why shouldn’t we rally around him? Goodness, if we dropped everyone everytime they made a mistake we wouldn’t have a lot of friends left in the world, would we?

I’d note on this that although there are attempts to set up a Multiple blog version of WP you are always safer having a seperate install for each, when I use to run MT I have multiple blogs and its makes things difficult if you go to move a blog or sell it, where as if they are all stand alone you haven’t got the same problem

Some good points there in relation to what’s really behind this, I mean Google’s conflicted by owning Blogger and Waxy flies the MT flag, may be a little bit of a conspiracy theory but its certainly causing damage to WordPress as well, and there are any number of people who could benefit from that.
