I am seeing something similar here, curious how this can be resolved.

This is resolved enough for me. I can leave the page where it is in the hierarchy.

I have promoted the page to no longer being a subpage and tested that…it seems to address the issue.

I didn’t have to deactivate any of the plugins to get this to work.

Thanks, yes have hit “Save” in Settings > Permalink a few times now. No change.

I saw the rewrite rules plugin suggested in another post, and installed it. I’ve hit flush a few times now…! Also no change.

In the list of rewrite rules, I don’t see anything in the 100 rules I’ve got with leaders-connect in it. Most of it looks like more general rules to me…

The only reason/place I noticed the leaders-connect rewrite was in an SEO crawler I ran on the site….doesn’t show up in the rewrite rules list at all.

Oh, prior to migration I also moved the page this was on down a level in the site, so there’s a 301 redirect from the old url

https://robpasick.com/leaders-connect-breakfast/

to

https://robpasick.com/leaders-connect/leaders-connect-breakfast/

that might be getting in the way. I don’t need the 301 redirect, since the site was never live with this URL, but it might be part of the issue, just a guess.

I was able to find a way to toggle the bootstrap slider in the UI (change the setting to make it manually toggle-able on each page and then I turned it off on the News/posts page).

Your code helped me turn off the featured content on the News/posts page.

I might make a child theme just to keep that code from being overwritten in a theme update.

I figured it out.

It works for me in WP 3.2.1.
