In reply to: Alittle over my head here – couple of questions on new MU setupok thank i checked the plugin box in admin settins and the plugin link now shows on the site side. But it shows no plugin and i know i have at least 10 on the MU admin plugin list.
I am using the plugin managment plugin.
Do need to mass activate all from the managment plugin list or use the network activate option under MU plugins?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Multisite Plugin Manager] warnings when creating a new siteproblem solved i guess the permalink issue was the culprit, the classified plugin had a page restore and i had to move my header banner over but its working. yippeeee. ?? now only 6 more blogs to go lol

In reply to: [Multisite Plugin Manager] warnings when creating a new siteI found the problem, well that one at least lol.. Seems i already had plugins in my multisite when it was a single site before the conversion.
What you have to do is turn all of those off on the site level. Then activate the plugin manager, so that it takes control. Once you do that you should see a list of all your plugins in plugin manager screen. If you do not see the list of all your plugins then you need to do the process over.
Globally deactivate all
Deacitate the plugin mangager also now
Make sure all plugins are deactivated at site levelthen enable the plugin manager and it should take control of all the plugins.
My problem now is that one of my sites uses the classified plugin and i cant get it to work on just that site alone. I have disabled the plugin from the manager level, then enabled the plugin under the site setteings on the botton and still it wont work.
Any ideas?

thanks christopher appreciate the feedback and the update..
yeah i agree, i also wanted to forward my users to the main page at login and then give them a choice (with a link) to go to their dashboard or profile if they chose to from there.
this plugin does what it sais it takes them to the home page after login but the down side is that it totally blocks them from access to the dashboard or profile as an option.
there needs to be a way to do both, take them to the home page after login and then allow them to go to their dashboard or profile afterwards… isnt there an if (login) they can use as a switch in the code.
