In reply to: [Redirection] Works with WP BitnamiWhen I do the redirect process through the plugin, when I type the url blog.mydomain.com the browser pulls it to mydomain.com/blog, and at that time, instead of seeing the WP page, I get the 404 error.

In reply to: [Redirection] Works with WP BitnamiThanks again for your responses.
I’m simply trying to make it so that on the same server, I can direct requests for blog.mydomain.com (my DNS record) to mydomain.com/blog.
There are no significant errors in the Apache log, and I can’t think of what I can do to make this redirection go smoothly. I’ve even edited Bitnami’s .vhosts files without success. There’s something about this process that I can’t figure out.

In reply to: [Redirection] Works with WP BitnamiHi @jphnny5
Thank you for the return.
I’m accessing the Site menu and in Relocate to domain: I enter the redirection I would like, which is https://mydomain.com/blog, looking like this
https://blog.mydomain.com => https://domain.com/blog and press the Update buttonThe redirection occurs, if I access blog.mydomain.com it goes to domain.com/blog, but my WordPress simply does not load, and I receive the 404 page.
So I don’t know if what I’m doing is right. I’m sorry, but I’m just trying out WP

In reply to: Recirect WordPress BitnamiThanks @raasb110 for your feedback.
- In this case, as I am using a Bitnami instance, the WordPress Address and Site Address options were blocked, so I manually edited the wp-config.php file
- As for CloudFront, at first it doesn’t seem to have any major problems, and the configurations seem ok.
- Here’s the problem. Even though I write the changes to the wordpress-vhost.conf and wordpress-httpsp-vhost.conf files, the redirection occurs, but I always end up getting the 404 error
I can’t check where I’m going wrong.
