In reply to: [SEOPress - On-site SEO] Page Updated Message IssueFWIW: I first noticed this whilst looking at moving a site from The SEO Framework to SEOPress. Not sure why it would affect one and not the other if it’s “related to the block editor and the management of metaboxes by WordPress”. It has a negative effect on workflow so it would be good if a fix could be found. ??
That’s a shame.
It’s a relatively trivial task to show product variations on the shop/category pages and it seems it seems its perfectly possible to show product add-ons with the WooCommerce Product Table plugin in conjunction with the official WooCommerce Product Add-ons extension (https://barn2.co.uk/woocommerce-product-add-ons/).

In reply to: [WooCommerce Local Pickup Time Select] Can you remove time slots?I’d like this too !!
Update:
I have now somehow fixed this. I deleted The SEO Framework, ran a database optimiser, and reinstalled.
When checking & saving The SEO Framework settings I got a message saying that ‘caches have been flushed’ at which point my sitemap was restored to health.
Hi
Thanks for the reply. I remain perplexed!
The missing entries are all from the same custom post type, but some entries do appear from that type (so it’s not a universal post type setting).
The missing entries are publicly visible, are not redirected, and are indexable.
I can bulk edit _genesis_noindex and set the value to zero and all of the entries disappear. If I re-edit and set it to 1 only the original subset re-appears.
Thanks – all working again ??

In reply to: [Scriptless Social Sharing] Social Icons no longer displayingHi
I’m seeing this behaviour too (on an iphone with Adguard installed).
Logically that means some visitors to my site aren’t seeing the sharing buttons. Is there any way identifying why the content is being blocked and fixing it in the plugin?
Thanks

In reply to: [Helpful] Division by zero errorOK – seems to be fixed. Thanks for quick response! ??
Thanks
Problem resolved…
In the database affected posts were listed in wpdb_postmeta with _genesis_noindex = 2. I have no idea how / why unless somehow related to switching from Yoast?
Opening & resaving a post caused the associated entry in wpdb_postmeta to disappear completely.
Deleting all entries in wpdb_postmeta with _genesis_noindex = 2 fixed it!!
Back to GPDR!

Thanks for the reply.
I’ve tried flushing & disabling caching plugins, and done the same via cpanel. No change ??
It’s not the biggest problem in the world – just frustrating from a visual point-of-view and because it makes no sense. As a matter of interest, how is the bar being created?
Hi
In all cases the visibility tab is correct. The issue just seems to be that (for an apparently random selection of a mixture of post types) the SEO bar simply isn’t showing the same thing as the visibility tab until I open & save the post.
None of the affected posts were part of the bulk edit operation – that’s why I started a new thread.
I have sent a couple of images via your contact form which show what I’m seeing. The only change between ‘before’ & ‘after’ is I save the post.
My problem is specifically in WordPress admin.
The SEO Bar (in overview tables & the SEO Settings metabox) sometime shows as blue even when the post is set to be indexed. Opening an affected post and then saving it fixes the problem.
Affected posts do actually have their index status set correctly so this isn’t affecting visibility in search engines – it just means that in WordPress admin I can’t reliably tell what the index status of a particular post is set to.
It looks like I need a way to force a reload/refresh of what the SEO Bar is displaying?

In reply to: [The SEO Framework – Fast, Automated, Effortless.] Bulk editing noindexThanks
That works. The only problem is the Custom Field Bulk Editor plugin only displays 200 posts and there is no facility to show further pages. Judicious use of the search box at the top of the screen might help in some instances but I just reset the limit to 2000 in line 193 of custom-field-bulk-editor.php and the job was done. (Probably worth having a database backup before doing that!)
