Hi,

the subject of the MailPoet mail is: “Please confirm your subscription…” This is going to the subscriber. I test it and it works perfect.
The subject of the CF7 mail is: “New Message from Website Contact form…” and shows me that someone subscribed to the newsletter. This is what i don’t need and don’t want. I tried to stop this by leaving the to mail address field in CF7 empty. But this produced an error message.

Both, to and from email addresses for are “[email protected]”

I don’t want to receive the CF7 mail.

Thats exactly the problem. I get other mails i do not want. I don’t know where to stop this.

the website is on a local computer using MAMP with PHP 7.0.0, MySQL 5.5.42.

The computers firewall is off.

Server IP & Memory Usage Display says: Memory: 50.33 of 256 MB (20%) | WP LIMIT: 256 MB
The problem still exists. Chrome reports: “ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE”.
In the meantime i deactivated not only all other plugins but the theme also – nothing works.

Don′t know what to do…

I put my old shortcode back to the widget and now it works like it should. Perfect!
I will have a closer look to the website in future to see if it happens again. I really do not understand why it happens because in the period of time when the problem occurs nothing was changed on the website. So the problem came out of nowhere.

Anywhere, the problem is solved for the moment.

So now it is going really weird.
Because i cant do anything else, i updated Backup-Buddy. After updating the event list shows only the real upcoming events. So i thought everything is ok. I was not really satisfied with this because i would like to now why a error occurs. So i looked at another page, where in the sidebar a widget shows the next upcoming event. To my surprise the widget shows the event from the 20. December, like the general event list before updating the plugin. So i looked at the widget. The code i used there was:

[wpt_events limit=”1″]{{thumbnail|permalink}}{{title|permalink}}{{datetime|date}}[/wpt_events].

So i tried something. I just used: [wpt_events limit=”1″][/wpt_events].
Now the upcoming event is showed correctly, although it does not look the way i want.

Now i am totally confused. I did not changed the shortcode of the event list, but suddenly it shows only the upcoming events. The widget is showing past events back to the date of 20. December. After changing the shortcode it works correctly.

What is this???

The time is set up properly and no caching plugin is in use.

As i can′t “play” around on the live-site, i put the test-server back online.

On the test-server i set up 3 widgets for the upcoming events.
Number 1 is the upcoming-widget using the following shortcode:
{{thumbnail|permalink}}{{title|permalink}}{{date}}
Number 2 is the upcoming-widget using the following shortcode:
{{thumbnail|permalink}}{{title|permalink}}{{date|date(‘d. F Y’)}}
Number 3 is a text-widget using the following shortcode:
[wpt_events limit=”1″]{{thumbnail|permalink}}{{title|permalink}}{{date}}[/wpt_events]
