In reply to: [Lazy Load for Videos] No previews, no white progress barHi Kevin,
I added the videos using the standard Gutenberg YouTube embed block.
The issue I described appeared fixed a day later.
However, I had another problem where I could not set the alignment and width correctly. Also, the “Additional CSS class(es)” in the block settings appeared twice, and was empty (instead of, for instance, “wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio”).
I played around with the SiteGround Optimizer settings. I had already turned off lazy load in that plugin, and had cleared the cached. The problem persisted even when deactivating the SiteGround plugin altogether. It disappeared only when I deactivated Lazy Load for Videos. Puzzling.
Sounds good. Thanks for the explanation.

In reply to: [Spectra - WordPress Gutenberg Blocks] Blockquote Author background colorThanks, but meanwhile I did find a way to change the background color, via CSS:
.wp-block-uagb-blockquote .uagb-blockquote__author-wrap { background-color: whitesmoke; }
Would it be possible to accomplish the same thing using the ‘Additional CSS Class(es)’ setting in the block options? If so, how?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Object 334900 of 32057 processedHi Patrick, I’m not familiar with WP-CLI, and it looks like it’s above my pay scale… The lazy load sounds fine to me for now, though I may run the indexer again overnight.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Object 334900 of 32057 processedHi Patrick,
The issue occurred in 14.04.
I’m reluctant to start the indexing process again, since the whole process from start to me hitting the Stop button took over 13 hours.

In reply to: [Simple Footnotes] PHP 7 warningIt would be great if there were an update to Simple Footnotes.
I wonder (and worry) about this as well. One of my sites uses Jetpack’s comments feature, and I need for it to include a consent checkbox.
The deadline is this coming Friday, May 25, so Jetpack is cutting it a bit close.

Here’s a screenshot of the message I received from Google about this.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Category description issue after upgradeI have the same problem, and I am mystified as to why there is no sufficient answer.
The Help file is of no help here. It simply does not address the issue: something that has always worked suddenly is marked as incorrect, and the help file says nothing about it.
I find this very disconcerting.
