In reply to: [External Media] Images on Google Drive don’t displayI’m back after verifying that the Drive folder in use can be linked publicly. I’ve made two visible pages, one edited with Cornerstone. The result is completely non-functional. The second one is edited with the WP editor, not Cornerstone. It still exhibits the behavior mentioned above; link text is visible, and links when clicked to the appropriate image. The image does not display automatically in the WP Page, which is still what I need. Also, the first time I tried to open the image, I was required to login in; how can I stop this from occurring?
I’d welcome your suggestions.

In reply to: [External Media] Images on Google Drive don’t displayThanks for the quick reply and the suggestion. I’ll check into it and come back with any additional information I can find.
Hi Jack,
Sorry for any confusion; the post originally went to Christian Wach, author of CiviCRM-WP Member Sync plugin (a WP plugin specific to CiviCRM, which has its own DB tables for members, contributions, events, etc.). His plugin syncs new user info from CiviCRM to WordPress (updating WP DB tables), but for some reason (unknown to me so far), when that sync event happens via the WP Member Sync plugin, your plugin is not triggered to send the WP New Member email. I’m trying to get a handle on why your plugin is not triggered in WP when the sync action is fired from the update in CiviCRM. Any insights would be helpful. Christian has suggested a code snippet that may work, I’ll give it a tryout and report to both of you. Thanks.

Jack,
Delayed response due to illness, sorry for that.
I just manually entered a user to WP, and the BNFW notices arrived as expected, so it does look like there is an issue with Members and automatic user creation. If you have any suggestions for capturing debug info, I’ll follow them and see what I can find.
Thanks,
Don@rockinpreacher, I had the same problem. After installing postfix on my Ubuntu 14.04.5 server, the problem resolved and notifications now are sent. I’d second Jack’s suggestion. Good luck.

Thanks, Gavin; it works for me also, and is good enough for now. I’d prefer to see a consistent use of shortcode IDs or consistent documentation; so, will wait for the next release to review and possibly mark this as closed from my viewpoint.
Don
+1 for this. I’m seeing the issue as well. Thanks for the upcoming fix.
Don
Thanks, I’m eager to see the update. Glad to see this marked resolved!

Thanks for your response. I made a mistake in posting; looked for a way to delete the erroneous post, didn’t see one. If I missed it, please point out the obvious to me, I don’t see it. What got posted is an edit of the erroneous post in which I removed the error text and substituted the request. Thanks for listening.

Thanks for the explanation; the plugin is very useful.
I had the same problem crop up, using v1.9.8 and v1.9.9. I got around the issue by omitting the “id” column, but would have preferred to be able to use it.
