In reply to: [EasyRotator for WordPress - Slider Plugin] Image Rotate every 24 hoursHi,
Thanks for your interest in EasyRotator! Unfortunately, this plugin doesn’t support automatically switching out photos on daily basis. However, you could do this:
– Create a rotator that displays posts from a category
– Create 40 scheduled posts for the 40 days, each with a featured image
– The rotator will then display a new post each daySincerely,

In reply to: [EasyRotator for WordPress - Slider Plugin] 1* only because of FlashHi there,
Thanks for checking in! Just to clarify, Flash is only used for the editor. The generated sliders don’t require any plugins – they use only standards-based HTML5.
If you have any other thoughts or constructive feedback we’d be grateful for that.
Sincerely,

In reply to: [EasyRotator for WordPress - Slider Plugin] VirusI think the best would be if you can send the relevant files in a support ticket on our website ( https://www.dwuser.com/ ). We can then review the files.

In reply to: [EasyRotator for WordPress - Slider Plugin] VirusHi @tkalfaoglu,
Thanks for using EasyRotator for WordPress, and I appreciate you writing. Obviously we take any potential security concerns very seriously.
Do you have any details about how the files were placed on your server or their contents, or any other information about what led you to suspect that EasyRotator itself is the source of the issue you’ve described? Once there’s more information about how the files arrived and their content, it will be easier to attempt to research what’s going on and provide additional guidance on your situation.
You can browse the latest plugin code at https://plugins.trac.www.ads-software.com/browser/easyrotator-for-wordpress/tags/1.0.14 . (There are no
a.php
orb.php
files included with the plugin, and all code has been carefully written to use best practices and vetted against common security issues.)Looking forward to hearing more details about your situation, and hopefully being able to shed some more light on the problem you’ve run into.
Sincerely,
Drew O’NeillHi there,
Sorry to hear you’re running into trouble again. The error you’ve mentioned usually relates to having incorrect credentials stored in the EasyRotator editor program, versus launching the editor directly from the WordPress dashboard.
Looking in more detail at your site configuration will allow me to check into the source of the problem. I see you’ve replied to my reply to the support ticket you also opened, so I’ll continue assisting through that channel.
Sincerely,

In reply to: [EasyRotator for WordPress - Slider Plugin] Adding images to sliderHi,
Thanks for using EasyRotator, and sorry for the inadvertent slow reply here!
Are all of your images JPGs? Do they have any special characters in the file names? If not, can you please try another folder of plain JPGs as a test?
Sincerely,

In reply to: [EasyRotator for WordPress - Slider Plugin] Mixed Content errorsHi Max,
Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention. This issue only applies on admin pages when the PageLines plugin is present, due to a work-around for a styling conflict. While it doesn’t affect many users, it’s obviously a noteworthy issue for those it does affect, such as you! We’ve just released a patch (no version update) to the plugin to correct the issue. You can manually re-download and update the
easyrotator.php
file, or uninstall and then reinstall from the WP dashboard. Please let me know if you run into any other issues.
