In reply to: [Classic Editor] site by site enabled for multisite? Is this ready yet? I’ve installed Classic Editor on a small, multisite network and would like to give my users the option to choose which editor they want to use.Nevermind, I found the setting in the Network > Settings screen. Thanks!

In reply to: [Plugin Manager] IconsThe only time it doesn’t work is for plugins that add extra functions aside from activate and deactivate. I have a few that add functions like custom menu, settings, and other specific function names. In those cases, the classes for the extra functions tend to be generically named 0 and 1. When I try to add styles for them similar to activate, deactivate or delete, it scrambles everything. I don’t have much time to mess with this so, for now, I’m happy with all but 2 or 3 plugins appearing the way they should.

In reply to: [Plugin Manager] IconsI’ve finally gotten back to this. The vertical lines (pipes) are in the HTML, though I couldn’t actually find them to remove them. No matter, I’ve managed to mostly restore this to the way I remember it being. This version places the icons between the pipes, so it does the trick for me:
.activate, .deactivate { float: left; margin-left: 0; } .delete { float: left; margin-left: 2px; margin-right: 3px; } .group, .lock, .hide { float: left; margin-left: 4px; margin-right: 0; } .plugins .plugin-title .dashicons:before { padding: 4px; background-color: #e4e9f6; border-radius: 4px; font-size: 17px; color: #b4b7e9; } .plugin-title .dashicons { width: 20px !important; height: 20px !important; margin-top: 0 !important; padding-right: 10px !important; }

In reply to: [Plugin Manager] Icons alot too big, no maintananceThis issue makes the plugin harder to use. I have requested an update in a support thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/icons-28/. Instead of a bad review, why not add to the thread and ask the developer to make an update?

In reply to: [Plugin Manager] Notes field – feature requestI second the suggestion for “Plugin Notes” and can also recommend “Network Plugin Auditor” for multisite networks. It adds a column to your Plugins listing page that shows which site(s) each plugin is active in.
Between this Plugin Manager, Plugin Notes, Network Plugin Auditor and Multisite Plugin Manager, managing plugins in my small network is pretty easy. I can’t imagine what admins of large network installations do to keep it all straight. It would be great if there were a comprehensive solution.

In reply to: [Plugin Manager] rename groupsClick on a group you’ve created so that only the plugins in that group are listed. At the top of the screen next to the Plugins: <Group Name> title, click the gear icon. In the sidebar options box, you can change the group title, description, and color. You can also delete the group from here.

In reply to: [Plugin Manager] Multisite featureI’m also looking to have this great plugin extended for Multisite network use. Ideally, a checkbox option that says “Also use this group at the site level” that can be selected when applying a group to the plugin at the network level.
While I can’t offer coding help, I can offer a donation.
Thanks,
AprilThis also happened to me. I had the plugin set to produce a backup once every 3 days, and to only retain the most recent 3 backups. Earlier this week, I started to receive disk space warning messages from my host. Today, I deleted nearly 2,000 backup files that had accumulated in the last 3.5 days. I have another backup plugin to use instead.
I also have this issue. Is there an answer?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Warning! The Google XML Sitemaps plugin(s) … warning NOT RESOLVED@daveslc
I submitted a support email on the Yoast site and the reply I got was “Unfortunately we haven’t been able to verify your license” and “If you are using our free plugin and have questions regarding WordPress SEO, we would refer you to the following 2 options: Check out our extensive Knowledge Base, Visit the free forum”Next step is to file a bug report.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Warning! The Google XML Sitemaps plugin(s) … warning NOT RESOLVED@barnez Thanks but that didn’t work for me. I’m pretty certain I did something wrong because I got an error instead of the admin interface view. I probably need more explicit instructions.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Warning! The Google XML Sitemaps plugin(s) … warning NOT RESOLVEDI should revert to a previous version of the Yoast plugin in order to permanently dismiss a dubious “warning” because Yoast thinks you should use their XML sitemap instead of the Google XML Sitemaps plugin?
The warning appears on EVERY page in the admin interface for administrators, editors and authors, even after it’s been dismissed. That is just RUDE. This persistent warning message will confuse and upset the authors and editors in my network because they can’t access plugin settings.
If this can’t be fixed ASAP, I’ll need to find an alternative to this plugin.
I’m also having this issue. Some feedback from the plugin author would be great.
I resolved one issue. My site no longer locks up randomly, All in One Event Calendar caused that issue.
Separately, I was referring to not being able to get BWPS to ignore W3 Total Cache directories as described in this thread.
I do not use BWPS for backup, I have another plugin I prefer to use for that.
I am also having this issue. Looking for solutions, wondering if there’s a list of known conflicting plugins available somewhere? W3 Total Cache is another issue, I cannot get BWPS to ignore those directories.
