In reply to: [3CX Free Live Chat, Calls & WhatsApp] Chat slowness and incorrect time stampHi @designspinners,
So glad to hear that the issue has been resolved. Increasing the server option to VPS would increase the amount of checks which run in a request, which in turn increases the speed of the chat.
However it should be noted that this should only be changed to an environment option which matches your server setup. (For other users referencing this post)
I am glad to hear the VPS option resolve the issue on your side though. We will be releasing a new high speed message relay option in the near future which will alleviate server load and increase performance.
Thank you so much for your time, and have a great day!
Hi @erisal,
Thank you so much for your feedback and I am sorry to hear this did not meet your needs.
We will definitely consider adding something similar to what you have mentioned in the future.
My apologies once again for the inconvenience caused.

In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] Error reportHi @alexlii,
Thank you for sending through the relevant link.
I visited the site, however it appears the plugin has been disabled? As a result, I am unable to view the errors on the page.
Would it be possible for you to reactivate the plugin so that I may debug this further?

In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] Error reportHi @alexlii,
Thank you for getting in touch, we really appreciate your time.
The first warning can be resolved by clicking on Maps -> Settings -> Maps (tab) -> And setting the ‘Use Google Maps API’ to a higher version number.
With regards to the second issue, I suspect this could be related to a JavaScript error on the page. Could you provide me with a link to the map page so that I can debug further?

In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] User Input MarkersHi @firasab,
Although logged in users can access the map via the admin area, they will not be limited to being able to add a marker.
In other words, a logged in user with map access would be able to add markers, edit markers, remove markers, and edit map settings.
We have however developed an extension to allow users to add markers from the front end. You are welcome to have a look at that on our website.
I hope this helps?
Hi @erisal,
Only a pleasure!
Hi Austin (@austinflorida),
Thank you so much for getting in touch and out apologies for the trouble you are having.
I have had a look at your site and it appears that you are using the Cherry Framework. The Cherry Framework forcefully loads version 1.7.2 of jQuery instead of loading the default (WordPress standard) 1.12.4.
This is a common issue which we do see and have attempted to resolve internally, however in some cases manual resolution is still required.
jQuery is a library we use to handle transitions, handling responses from our background requests, and for manipulating the web page to show the chat box as it is seen.
As a result we would need to assist you in moving to the minimum supported version of jQuery (1.8.x) to resolve the issue. It is a very routine task and our support agents would be able to assist you without much trouble.
I can also confirm that this does not negatively influence Cherry Framework as I have personally made this change numerous times before.
Please get in touch with us here: https://wp-livechat.com/contact-us/ – So that we can assist you with this.
Please feel free to ask for me, and I will personally assist you with this if you would prefer.
We look forward to hearing back from you!

Hi @t22james,
Unfortunately I do not have a concrete release date for you at this stage.
However we are hoping to complete our testing soon. After this we would be aiming to release in a matter of weeks. However we will first need to complete full testing as the next release features quite an extensive list of changes.
If you do need this resolved in the meantime, our team would be more than happy to assist you. If so, please get in touch with us via our contact page on our website.
I hope this helps?
Hi @erisal,
So sorry to hear that WP Google Maps didn’t function as intended for you.
I am going to add this as a suggestion for future development.
I would like to mention that we do support creating a map on the fly with a marker on it by using WordPress custom fields.
More information on this can be found here: https://www.wpgmaps.com/introducing-maps-by-custom-fields/
I believe we may have misunderstood your initial request, otherwise we would have provided you with this information much sooner.
Thank you again for your time. Have a great day.

In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] jquery errorsHi @erisal,
Thank you so much for your time on this one.
Importing a CSV will show the lat/lng within the info window of the marker, or the address if supplied. With regards to automatically geocoding the addresses to find the lat/lng of each location, this can be done automatically on import.
However you will need to have a Google Maps API key which allows for geocoding to occur. This is free for around 2500 requests per day if I am not mistaken.
We supply you with an input field for the API key which will then automatically geocode each address and store the relevant lat/lng.
Creating an XML file would simply be a more advanced (and complicated) version of this as it would need to be developed manually to override the default XML file. However this is not needed if using CSV as the plugin will handle this.
I hope this helps?
Hi @dozarko,
Thank you for getting in touch, we really appreciate your time. My apologies for the delay in response.
Unfortunately our basic version of the plugin does not support directions, however our Pro add-on does support a Get Directions link being shown in the info-window.
When this link is clicked the directions will either load internally (on a computer) or using the native navigation app on a smart phone.
I hope this helps?

In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] Error: Invalid Archive StructureThank you so much for getting in touch and our apologies for the delay in response.
Could I ask if you have tried uninstalling the plugin and then re-installing the plugin from the WordPress plugin directory?
This may resolve the issue as a full uninstall may allow the libraries to function as intended.
