Howdy!
The main purpose of the plugin is to let customers pay directly from product and shopping cart pages with PayPal, Venmo, and credit/debit cards. It does also allow payment on the checkout page as well.
You can use the PayPal Checkout plugin for product and cart pages, then also setup the PayPal Standard option for the checkout page, if you’d like. That should work a bit better with the checkout form.
Howdy!
This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
?
The best way to determine this is to:- Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
- Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
- Repeat the action that is causing the problem
If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.
Let us know how that goes! It’s best to test for conflicts only after a full website backup or ideally on a test/staging site instead.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Shipping & Tax] not able to print labels on certain ordersThanks for checking!
I created a product with the same name and tested just now, still didn’t have an issue:

In reply to: [WooCommerce Shipping & Tax] not able to print labels on certain orders@grnmtnvtnek Okay, good find!
I tried replicating this issue and couldn’t get the same results. To check, you have the

within the product name like what is shown in the image below?
Link to image: https://d.pr/i/hArzg3@partsbreaker As this seems to be caused by a different issue, please open a new thread and we’ll help you there.

In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Payment Gateway] Issues with PPEC and IPNsThanks! Everything looks pretty good here.
This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. It looks like your “Avada” theme could possibly be the cause. I also see you have the “Code Snippets” plugin (although it could be anything).

If you still have issues after that, try resetting the API information here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/paypal-express-checkout/#section-4

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Product Variations disappear after savingHowdy!
That’s progress!
Try clearing all caching from your browser and site, then deactivate and reactivate WooCommerce. Does that help?

In reply to: [WooCommerce Shipping & Tax] not able to print labels on certain ordersThanks for that information!
The biggest issue that jumps out to me here is that you’re on an unsupported version of PHP. Please update to PHP version 7.2+ (ideally 7.4), then try testing again to see if you only randomly get the shipping label option.
If you still have issues, are there any similarities between the orders with the missing print label options? How about between the ones with the option? An order must have at least one physical (non-virtual) product associated with it for the print label option to appear. Also, you’ll want to make sure that all products have weights and dimensions added.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Shipping & Tax] Enable automated taxes not showingHowdy!
I have some issues with the option” Enable automated taxes” not showing under Woocommerce -> Settings -> Tax
You also need to have the Jetpack plugin installed and activated for it to work. Make sure you follow the setup process as outlined here:
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-services/#section-1
Also we are shipping international to all countries. Is this plugin sufficient to cover most countries, or is there other plugins that can also help to calculate taxes?
This plugin allows you to ship internationally by offering international USPS rates.
This plugin calculates taxes as well:
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-services/#section-12
Also – how does it work with us collecting taxes – and how are we supposed to pay these taxes to another country.
It works with the following countries: United States, Canadian, Australian, and United Kingdom-based stores, plus allowing usage for tax rates in a growing list of countries in the rest of the world including: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.
It only calculates the taxes that customers would need to pay at checkout, you would still need to track and pay those taxes.
If you need a more robust option, then we recommend the following:

In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Payment Gateway] Issues with PPEC and IPNsHowdy!
The
WC_Gateway_PPEC
class is indeed added by the PayPal Checkout plugin.Errors like this are usually a result of outdated code on the site.
Could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via
WooCommerce > Status
.Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here. Thanks!

Thanks for testing.
Looks like this is actually a known issue, and you can read more about it here:

There are some options, and a workaround suggested there.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Variable Product Options Not WorkingThanks for the information @bearbehind!
If the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin didn’t help, I do see the message mentions the
W3 Total Cache
plugin. As @stormman mentioned, please try clearing the cache and then deactivating the plugin to see if that helps. You can keep the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin activated when trying.Forum: Plugins

If you could show your friend this thread and have them double-check everything mentioned, that would be great!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Cap shipping when when 2 shipping classes are usedHowdy!
Is there a way in functions.php we can cap all shipping, regardless what is bought to £9.49
You should be able to do that within the “Table Rate Shipping” plugin you’re using. Which plugin is it? I’d recommend contacting the support team of that plugin to help you with this.
