Okay it turns out that it was already off as seen in this image:

Any other ideas as to what might fix this issue? Thanks for all of your help so far.

Thank you, I tested it after updating. The first time it worked and now I am getting an “unknown error” and “error in processing your form” and no email again. The odd thing is the comments show up after refreshing. Will turning debug mode off fix this entirely or just the error message?
