On the permissions: I did a “chmod -R og+w .”, so all files should have write permissions. Also, I use the Thesis theme, if that makes any difference (although I cannot see why)

I have this same issue on ALL my blogs, regardless of how I set my permissions on the server. I tried to be patient, because sometimes WP “self-heals”, but not in this case.

Any idea where to look?

I’m running 2.8.6 trying to import in either FF/Safari or Chrome on my Mac. No luck…
