Umm. I don’t think it’s fair to completely blame it on the Redirect plug-in.
My wife’s site ran into this problem after installing the SI Contact Form plug-in. She happened to have Redirect installed and everything was working fine. After installing SI Contact form, inexplicably the contact form became the home page. Even disabling SI Contact Form wouldn’t bring the homepage back.
Redirect is doing weird things. But this plug-in is enabling these wired things, even though I understand it’s not your fault.
Please at least put a note up front that this could happen so I don’t have to spend my Friday night fixing this mess for my wife and that she’s not losing business because of it.
This is a great plug-in, but this conflict is a BAD problem.
