In reply to: [User Role Editor] Cannot Edit Settings in MultisiteFeel free to ask if you would like me to test.
I could leave your account there for a little while if you want to use the yougigguide account for testing.

In reply to: [User Role Editor] Cannot Edit Settings in MultisiteOK, that makes allot of sense.
Thank you for getting to the bottom of the issue. Much appreciated.
Do you have plans to fix this in future as it will be very annoying having to change it everytime I need to edit User Roles and if I give access to a customer to edit their own sites roles, then they wouldn’t be able to change the domain setting.

In reply to: [User Role Editor] Cannot Edit Settings in MultisiteJust sent a couple of eamils with details.
Also explain what domains were in use etc so you know what sites you can tinker with if need be without breaking a live site.
Thank you for the help so far.

In reply to: [User Role Editor] Cannot Edit Settings in MultisiteI’ve also just tried and set the same plugins for the parent domain as to one of the sub domains.
Same issues.

In reply to: [User Role Editor] Cannot Edit Settings in MultisiteFirstly I know how to change settings for sitewide.
Issue is it doesn’t work.
I make a change and apply it to all sites, then check a subsite and it hasn’t changed to reflect my main change.
And by default on a subsite, I go into User Role Editor, defaults to Subscriber Role. I change it to another role to edit and the page just refreshes back to the Subscriber Role.
How am I suppose to do a test copy of the site? That would take hours of work and I would also need new hosting account.
I could give you access to the existing site?

In reply to: [Google Content Experiments] Testing Different ThemesNever said I wanted to test 2 different websites.
What I would like to do for example is say, duplicate a theme and maybe change the colour or a single element.
There has to be a way to do something like that. Or is Google experiments only able to test different content?

In reply to: Override an action using a plugin. That kinda helps. I knew the first 2 options but didn’t know the 3rd. I did think I can override another plugin from the functions file.
My preference is as a plugin. Maily cause it will be on a multisite setup and the Vance I want will be required on all my sites.
My question is thou how do I make sure my mod is executed after WPEC? Cause obviously I don’t want WPEC to override my changes.

In reply to: Change Login Page Header Image LinkWow. Thank you so much.
Just for reference to anyone else reading this I did find another branding plugin called My Brand Login which does change the Logo URL to be relative. Only thing its missing that Custom Admin Branding has is the Footer logo.
For now I might just change the link manually and hopefully the change will be included in a future WP release.
Much appreciated for helping out with this problem. Thanks.

In reply to: Change Login Page Header Image LinkThankyou.
Now is there a way to override that using a plugin? I am new to writing plugins but am apt at PHP and have a few other plugin ideas so I think its time to learn.

In reply to: Change Login Page Header Image LinkAt the moment I have worked out how to do it manually by editing the wp-login.php file and changing the network_home_url() to bloginfo(‘url’).
My only issue with doing it this way is that I need to make this change everytime I update wordpress.

In reply to: Change Login Page Header Image LinkPS: the link at the bottom saying go back works correctly. what plugin is changing that or is it a wordpress thing. It links to the mapped domain.
So why not have that work on the image as well?
Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Change Login Page Header Image LinkFirst off no its not Site enabled its per site.
Why would it be a problem there? It doesn’t provide a feature that’s it.
But if I go to a subsites login page and login, then I expect to go to that subsite. If I click Home on the subsites pages I expect to go to the subsites home.
To me this is an issue with either wordpress not linking to the subsite home and linking to the network home instead, or its a problem iwth domain mapping. If the Custom Admin Branding offered a way to change the link and it was doing this then yes I would say there is a problem with it.
Barring any other reasonable solution, is there a custom branding plugin that allows me to change the link on a per subsite basis?

In reply to: Change Login Page Header Image LinkCurrently using Custom Admin Branding 3.0.3
It lets me change Logo’s and colours but no where to change the link.

In reply to: Change Login Page Header Image LinkDon’t mean to sound rude here, but if anyone is going to offer help can it be actual help on the actual problem. Not just some series of random guess based on nothing.
I will dum it down for everyone and I might be able to get an answer here.
Everything from MU to Domain Mapping and Logins work perfectly fine. Nothing is wrong with any of that stuff.
When on a subsite’s Login Page, there is a Logo above the login form. It links when clicked back to the parent (Blog 1) domain name. I want it to link to the domain name of the blog your logging into.
That’s all. Very small problem and a very basic one at that. THe problem is I don’t know why or even if its suppose to be that way and I am trying to find out how to change it.

In reply to: Change Login Page Header Image LinkTurned it on.

And I have add new domain. That’s it.
WHat am i suppose to be seeing?
