In reply to: Pages don't workThanks lavalink, but I actually did do all that. The permalinks are correct and the urls are correct. Something else is wrong. I don’t get it.

In reply to: Removig the header (Search bar)Oops I had included the link, but it seems to have gone missing.

In reply to: Import not workingI’ve been having trouble too, but I am using the export/import tools provided by wordpress.
I export the file from WordPress.com and import it to the site built with .org, but none of the posts are coming through. When the import is taking place it just stops at line 278 and gives no indication if it’s finished or not. It just stops.
I can’t imagine what I’m missing.

In reply to: Non-Flash Gallery options?Hi macmanx,
Thanks for the suggestion, and I’d like to use the WP native gallery more in the future, but I’m trying to find a way to put one large image on main page which rotates through a series of uploaded photos.
The key is that nobody has to click anything; the images just scroll through.
Not sure I’m explaining it right, but it would work like it does in the arras theme, except fit in the main box on julieorrdesign.com homepage.

In reply to: Duplicate pages I can’t get rid ofThanks Shane, but that’s not the problem. The problem is that my site has multiple pages (like two about pages, etc) and they only show up on the site so I can’t delete them. They’re not in the admin panel. The original is, but it’s showing up twice on the site.
I really need help on this.

Those two fixes worked out and I got it back. I have no idea how you knew that that code was missing, but thank you!
And also, thank you. Again… thanks. ??

In reply to: Sidebar content shows in the wrong placeRacerX,
I changed the float, and it did help, but like you said, it didn’t go all the way to the right. I’m not all that strong with code, but I’ll try and see if I can find why it works on pages, but not on posts.
Alchymyth, I’m confused by the statement
back to single.php, restore what got disturbed with your other trial to remove things:
What do you mean?

In reply to: Removing the date/time stamp and tags from postsEsmi,
I tried doing it the “right way”, but the formatting got all messed up so I just plugged the code right back in, but now the post pages are messed up. The sidebar is coming over the left.
I didn’t change anything else. I even tried putting the original single.php code back in, but it still didn’t come out right.
I don’t know how to fix this page now. Please help!

In reply to: Google Maps and Adding a Logo to the title,Wow, when you said it “mashed the code” it occurred to me that I had check the “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” box in the writing settings of the admin panel. I tried changing that, but it didn’t work either.
It seems the problem is just like you said – it’s mashing the code. At least now I know, though it just seems crazy to me that there’s no other way around that.
Thanks for your feedback Jason and Alism!

In reply to: Google Maps and Adding a Logo to the title,I did, but still it’s not showing the actual map afterwards. I have the html inside a table (which is obvious when looking at the page), but that shouldn’t matter.
I just can’t figure why it’s not working. Could it be that two google maps on one page don’t work?
