In reply to: [Flexi - Guest Submit] Users cannot post imagesThat happened when I upgraded to PRO. I just left the old page in place and actually needed it once last year when something went wrong with the multi-image upload function.
Thanks for your help. I should have thought about the cache, but since it has been working fine for months, I didn’t give it a thought.

In reply to: [Flexi - Guest Submit] Users cannot post imagesI think I have it solved. I have excluded both the post and dashboard pages from the cache.

In reply to: [Flexi - Guest Submit] Users cannot post imagesI am running WP Fastest Cache. I cleared the cache and it now seems to be working. But I’ve been running that plugin for a long time and didn’t have issues before.

In reply to: [Flexi - Guest Submit] Users cannot post imagesI’ve disabled Wordfence and created a Subscriber account for you. Did you get the email about your account? I don’t really want to post it here.

In reply to: [Flexi - Guest Submit] Users cannot post imagesThe program has been working flawlessly until just today I got a message from a member that she was unable to upload. My dashboard page is set to https://www.olympiacameraclub.org/user-dashboard-2/ and has the shortcode: [flexi-user-dashboard]

In reply to: Can’t access Home PageI see it was a problem as putting my website URL as https instead of http. I guess there are some things I need to learn about using the free SSL from Cloudfare. My site now loads and as https, but does not show the lock. I’ll keep working on it. I think maybe I have to add something to .htaccess Thanks for your help.

In reply to: [Simple Lightbox] Titles not showingAfter reading vollweggn’s reply on how he resolved his issue, I found I had the same issue. I’ve started using Cloudflare to make my site https, but I didn’t change it in the settings to https. All is well now.

In reply to: [Simple Lightbox] Titles not showingI update plugins regularly as new versions are released, but I don’t recall when I might have updated Simple Lightbox last. I have not changed themes or uploaded any new plugins and I have tried disabling each of my plugins to make sure there is no conflict. I use a default WordPress theme Twenty-fourteen.
I have however changed hosts. That change happened in June 2018. But because I only add photos to this site twice a year, I didn’t notice any change until I was uploading new photos in November.
Here is an example of one of the pages where the plugin is not behaving the way it was before. https://www.nppnw.org/fall-2017/ Each of the photos on that page have a full title in the Title field, but it’s not showing up. On this page: https://www.nppnw.org/fall-2018/ I put the titles into the alt-text field and they show up the way I wanted them. I hate to think I’m going to have to go back through almost 30 pages of photos to move the title to the alt-text field.
Thanks in advance for your help.

@Barnez – I tried that method – created the subdomain at Afraid.com as instructed, but inserting it into the code didn’t work. Had to go back to using my IP address. Also, note that his code has one tiny error in it – there should be no space in Order Deny,_Allow – leaving a space after the comma gives an error when just accessing your home page.
I’ve written to the author and if I get it figured out, I’ll post more info here.
But if we can FTP into our site and change our own .htaccess file, then there should be no problem.
@ Kikilin: thanks. That is good news! The login attempts have also now stopped, so I guess the .htaccess method worked. So happy!! I’m deleting the test account now.

I’ve blocked the wp-login.php page via .htaccess and will see how that works. I have a member login page for subscribers that seems to use a different URL for logging in, so I’m hoping my .htaccess block will not affect my subscribers trying to login. If it does, I’m back to square one because I can’t lock out my members. I’ve created a temporary user account. Would one of you go here: https://www.olympiacameraclub.org/member-login/ and try to log in and then let me know your results. Username and password both ‘test’. Thanks
I didn’t mean you had a trojan, I mean lots of other people do and the hacker is able to control their computers to launch this attach. I don’t know that much about it, but I know it can be done. And the variety of IP addresses is what suggests to me that that is what is happening.
So what range of IPs did you block. I see far to big a range to block without locking out some of my own people.
All my emails say: Used an invalid username ” to try to sign in. Is that what yours are saying also?
